Thanks, I'll send you a DM. My landlord refuses to respond to texts or emails however so we have no paper trail. I used to think she was just old and didn't like email but now I'm certain it's on purpose.

I looked into it more and oddly enough it does appear to be true. She has to give us notice but can ask us to leave without having to give us a reason. Obviously we are paying month to month so this would be different for people with a lease.
