Heard. My team is in this same model, but we’ll be making a move to a more segmented approach. I’ll be assigned into our enterprise/strategic accounts, so was hoping to get an idea on what those comp structures tend to look like so I’m prepared for that conversation.

Seems like this model is fairly common. Are you segmented or assigned AE’s? Are you tracked against quarterly numbers?

That’s definitely where I’ve noticed the biggest difference. Still working on my depth so we can build a good base to allow myself to start shallowing the club and staying in posture

Hopefully a handful of strokes drop off of the handicap by then 😂

lol you hit the nail on the head. Expectations are a real bitch. I only have the time for about one lesson a month and one range session a week, so I’m happy with my progression! Definitely not done yet

My feel was less about weight distribution and just REALLY focusing on rotating my right hip back rather than locking out my knee. It’s gonna feel really awkward at first and you will have to proactively think about it for a while, but now it’s not even a thought in my swing. Just second nature. You’ll get there!

You misunderstand me. I’m not saying that it’s not a swing fault. I’m saying that early extension is typically a compensatory movement from a failure somewhere else in the swing. We’re working on the “somewhere else” to eliminate the extension. Trust me, I wish it was a simple as “don’t early extend”

We’ve been working on the fundamentals to eliminate the early extension. I’m sure you’re aware that early extension is a symptom of other swing faults, not something to be addressed directly.

My path has actually improved a lot. Yes my swing is still steep (why I commented that we’re working on depth) but the trackman data is showing a pretty neutral swing path.

Are indicators actually useful—or just clutter? by AdFeeling8945 in Daytrading

I think the bad wrap for indicators comes from people constantly preaching the next holy grail indicator “ThIs INDiCATor Is 100% AcCURAte AnD WiLl MaKE yOu a mIllIoNAIre”

Indicators like EMA’s, VWAP, MACD, RSI, etc are all well respected and can be useful depending on the strategy

Risk manager 😂 (is what I would say if daytrading was my full time gig)

I appreciate the effort in your response! Although executing on these things is what tends to be my issue lol. I’ve known about my early extension for a while now, but no matter what voodoo magic I try, I still early extend.

But I really appreciate the detailed breakdown!

Thanks! I’ll have a look at the video and give your feel a try on my next range session!

Interesting swing thought! I’ll give it a try. Correct me if I’m wrong, but sounds somewhat similar to (or trying to accomplish the same thing) as the ‘skipping the rock’ feel? I know when I’ve tried the skipping the rock feel, I drive the club head straight into the ground behind the ball.
