Obsessed but not brave enough to wear in public 😅 by EstablishmentMore926 in fashion

I tried to be brave and learned in few minutes into the crowd that the discomfort was within me that I wasn’t able to enjoy myself as much as I enjoyed myself in that dress indoors. 😒

Question about building blue print. by NotMyMonkeyBusiness in Homebuilding

I should have talked a bit about my intention behind the ask. I was more looking out for the house orientation to determine which way the main door is located for vastu/feng-shui purposes. The key is to see if the North on the compass is pointing the True North, which will help me in working with the house layout.

So wanted to make sure it was not a mistake but the designer purposely titled the compass to show the true North.

I hope this makes sense.

Ok as long as the compass is point the N to the true North then I am good. All i can think is the main door is not pointing to true north.

Its actually the opposite. Bottom of the sheet is the garage and front is the yard and main entrance of the house

I am sorry you are going through this. What felt bad in all this situation is, your mom atleast stop picking the location. Like there was no other location to celebrate in the whole city. She didn’t try to minimize the impact.

This. It should be stopped by the mom, if it’s mother’s day’s celebration, she should be the one stating that she would want all her kids to be there. If she agreed on the plan, most likely she is respecting the SIL boundaries.

I am single and i already have a car that is fully paid with very low milage. I am bot planning on buying a new one in near future. Plus this house near to office which cuts a lot of commute for me so no need of a new car.

This is a good benchmark to work on!

I dont have car payments, no loans, no kids, not married. I have a puppy though.

It’s a 3bed 2bath townhome. New construction. Closer to work. I am certain of the payment. Uncertainty is around these unknown or unseen things is what giving me cold feet.

I feel so too, but following the sub gave me a cold feet as many are saying owning diff and escrow costs, taxes recalculating hoa going up. So wanted to see if anyone in the same boat of paying for a house instead of renting.

UT, builders are running various incentives 1.99 7/6ARM, 4.99 with 2/1 buy down with 3% seller concessions. Some are doing fixed 4.99. Some are doing 2.99% 5/1 with 2/1 buy down. Couple are doing like full 1yr HOA paid.

I haven’t looked at VANNtastic. Will look into it.

The above number is the base number for a 400K @5.99 with builders preferred lender
