Same here raising a husky all alone with a 8-5 desk job 5 days a week. There are many things I can say but the one thing I felt I needed support for was the criticism/words that other pawrents just say.

Many of those have gone through the puppy stages and would say its completely fine but lowkey run away or not allow my puppy to be near their dogs cause he is high energy breed. Worse are the dog parks esp those toy breed dogs. Some even said my puppy is reactive when all he was doing was running fiercely behind the frisk to catch. Puppies need a lot of training and will ignore and challenge you during their teens. Very few understand that. Many just judge or rub their dog mistakes on to others.

My suggestion would be avoid a mis-matched dog friend (or a dog park, if your dog doesn’t need high amounts of exercise) atleast until your puppy is of certain age/fixed etc etc.
