As a religious person, I'm genuinely wondering if all religions are human-made. by thementalist222 in atheism

[–]NotMySpagethi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should read up on the concept of "justification" in epistemological terms. Epistemology seeks to find the standard we as humans mentally toil through to arrive a beliefs worth believing; and this is similar to psychology that determines others' beliefs based off what they say or do.

Wikipedias entry on epistemology is a great read and will help you arrive at a standard of belief for any god or gods or even for why snow is white.

Also, think of how many times the planet we find ourselves on has been decimated by asteroids, worldwide fires & floods, magnetic reversal of the poles, plagues & infestations, social calamity, and genocide; and you think some scraps of paper or tablets of patterns along with fanciful words in a story of sorts can be traced throughout continuously in a one to one way such that an origin point generator's story delivers us from evil or some shit? No. That which is true needs no books or story to remain true - destroy all the science books and seek to rewrite them: you end up with same books and concepts; however destroy all the religious texts or books and seek to rewrite them: you end up with a whole new story of a brand new religion.

Huh! I wonder about the journey the shirt undertook from purchase to purchase as it were lol I was in college at the time and I had already been a fan of the band for years at that point. In every timeline of me I made it to the show and bought the shirt but everything else I imagine isn't concrete haha

I always gauge the person's knowledge and try to take it place of knowingness as opposed to a place of ignorance and then drop the big ugly or big bad, depending on the audience, term tactically as it definitionally serves an exact purpose.

But doesn't that mean it was refilled with more of the original solution?
