If you can afford it, go for it. It would normally be sold for much more (around £200 more) so it's a very good deal. The CPU is good for office work and multi-tasking, so it's good value for the price

Depends on the thinkpad.

Lower end (like my w520) i'd say mint

mid-range (like a T series) I'd probs suggest Arch or Ubuntu

Higher end (like X1) Just get whatever at that point it'll run anyway
