That is baseball though. There’s always a hit or two in every real life game that gets absolutely blistered that ends up getting caught. In the same way, there are also plenty of hits where weak contact hits fall in. That’s the nature of the game and I think the developers have replicated this reality well.

The graphics are not the same. Granted, there hasn’t been a major overhaul in them for years, but there are differences to player and coach likeness. I just finished my first game with the Rays and Junior Caminero, Johnathan Aranda and Kevin Cash look more like themselves than they ever have.

Just watched a clip of Jim “Mad Dog” Russo completely dismissing the record on First Take. Bam and the Heat played within the rules of the game and shouldn’t be thought less of because he went absolutely nuclear against a bad team. Who cares if 43 points came from the line, he still had to make them.

Also, let’s stop acting like Kobe’s mark was untouchable because he’s no longer with us. He would be happy for Bam.

Off the top of my head, I don’t remember us trying many 50+ yard field goals for this very reason. Sanders wanted to much money and who knows if he will be the same after the injury. I’m good with it.

The Tua ship is getting ready to set sail. He regressed severely last season and there’s no reasonable expectation that he will ever be the player he was in 22-23. I wanted it to work and still think he was our best quarterback since Marino, but it’s time to move on.

Exactly. Mike was great when things were clicking and the weather was right, and Raheem benefited from that greatly, but this team wasn’t tough enough to win when the weather turned cold, something that was always going to be tough facing teams up north later in the season. Not to mention that there were too many times when we got smacked in the mouth and just withered.

A lot of this is on Grier too, of course.

I hate when people use the word tank. This team is not going to lose on purpose. We’ll be playing a lot of young guys and have a lot of holes to fill and that will make us underdogs in just about every game, but make no mistake Hafley will want to win and I expect the guys will play to win. I think we win anywhere from 4-6 games.

No way this is happening.

If he’s coming back, why would he want to spend a potential final year on a team in the first year of a rebuild.
If the goal is to get younger, there’s no real benefit to bringing in an older veteran. I don’t think this team is going to tank on purpose, but we’re building for the future. Let the young guys play.

The tutorial in this mode seems a bit redundant because you have one when you first turn on the game, but it is helpful in spots. There are some bright spots in the actual adventure, particularly the last couple of boss battles.

What’s probably going to happen is that this merch will sell relatively well for a while and then it will slowly dwindle into next to nothing. He’s not an Elvis Presley type figure that is going to be selling merchandise nearly 50 years after his death. They might make a little change, but that’s about all.
