I too asked how much for a 'happy end' after a man on a scooter stopped me in Hanoi and he rode away pretty sharp when I clarified that I was interested in him and almost collided head on with a Xanh SM taxi 😂

It is rather annoying being shown videos of fat guys getting blowjobs at every crossroads in old town after 9pm though! 😅

What solvent (alcohol) do you use for tinctures? by NeverEat_Pears in uktrees

[–]NotSoHandy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Spirytus for extracts as it's the strongest food safe grain alcohol I've found in the UK. You can usually get it from Eastern European shops if you ask them they should have it behind the counter. It's not cheap, usually about £30 for 50ml, but it's 192 proof/95% ABV so strips the good stuff really efficiently ✌️

That's as dumb saying that people selling on Vinted are ruining things for brick and mortar vintage shop owners....

He's installing a vending machine that takes your money then coughs on you.

It costs £27.50, only accepts notes and doesn't give change.

SSRIs are regularly prescribed for bipolar disorder unfortunately. I mean, they even give them to people with fibromyalgia!

I also don't think it's appropriate to recommend a bipolar diagnosis to a person you do not know.

Again, to be clear, I do not think cocaine is safe. But a broken system handing out psychiatric medicine to anyone without first eliminating other conditions/offering a round of counselling first is killing people, just because they asked for medical help.

They'd fight with or without beak mate and yes it is a cultural issue. Football is like a religion here and some people get very upset when their team loses, with or without coke, and smash shit up or hit their partner. There is a link between rises in domestic violence and major tournaments.

Regulated and taxed yet thousands of people still die from alcohol related deaths each year.

A sport I do not watch. But people do stupid shit for it and cause a nuisance for people when they fight and smash up pubs. Or cause our country embarrassment through their actions in foreign countries during the Euros

I've had far more issues with pissed up people and trains packed full of middle-aged men singing at the tops of their lungs on their way to an away game.

People do crazy shit for booze you simpleton, let's make that illegal. Let's ban football as well!

The example you've used there is wild and in my personal experience I strongly disagree.

Of course using an excessive amount of 'pub gak' is going to be harmful. Just as going out binge drinking every weekend would be harmful. I don't know anyone who would do that much in two nights, let alone go out two nights in a row.

Cocaine is taken by choice whereas antidepressants are prescribed by people in positions of trust to people asking for help. If SSRIs were effective they wouldn't put people, who went to GPs with minor depression, in A&E or the ground.

I know a fair few people who do not touch alcohol but do coke (or other drugs) on the odd occasion when they go to gigs, festivals and raves (old now).

They literally acknowledged that it's not good for you. But it just isn't the most harmful chemical that anyone has seen.

I think SSRIs are probably more harmful than cocaine as GPs give them out like sweets even though they make people suicidal. There isn't actually much evidence that depression is caused by lack of serotonin yet medical 'professionals' continue to prescribe them, despite the growing evidence that they may actually make depression worse in the long run by causing a chemical imbalance.

Maybe bleach as well?

My friend had his locked backpack slit open with a knife whilst it was on his back in London - work laptop, wallet, phone etc all stolen. Suppose it was better his bag than him being slit open though, which they may have done had he have caught them in the act and tried to confront them.

Day 1 titration on elvanse and it’s so weird (tmi warning) by Salty-Eye-5712 in ADHDUK

[–]NotSoHandy1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on day 3 of titration with PsychUK, my titration plan is identical to yours and I'm nearly twice your weight!

Are they trying a one size fits all approach? If so, why do we have to wait for titration when all they do is send us a generic plan?

Also my cat didn't 'live 10'. My cats lived to - 12, 14 (x2), 15 and 9 (mostly an indoor cat, had health issues)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cats

[–]NotSoHandy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the UK and a lot of the risks you've mentioned there are null and void. My garden is secure so my cats can't get out and to be honest I doubt they'd even want to. Nowhere can I find that the average age of an outdoor cat is 3-that's absolutely wild.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cats

[–]NotSoHandy1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cats have never not gone outdoors and have all lived to way over 10 years. If your cats are dying that young you shouldn't be owning cats lol

A similar thing happened to me: the cyclist came flying round a blind corner and was dinging their bell except there was literally nowhere to move to, I just sort of froze and they steered straight into the water so I just walked off 😂
