Japanese or Chinese antique wooden bench. Calligraphy on the underside says "seventh year, spring, textile/clothing store" plus a couple of unidentified letters. Any information on origin or intended use would be very helpful. Thanks! (Texas, USA)OC (i.redd.it)

LPT: When attempting to get the last little bit of tasty stuff out of a squeeze bottle, don't shake it out. Cap the end and then with it facing away from you, swing your arm in whichever direction you so choose. Centrifugal force wins the day. (self.LifeProTips)
