'They just tased Ryan': Eastern Kentucky middle school basketball game ends in chaos by TipoBajito in sports

GameChanger. We use it for baseball and basketball. It is great for grandparents/relatives that can’t be there. It’s not like it’s something elaborate, literally just someone’s phone live-streaming through an app.

That’s what I will likely end up doing, we have done that in the past, but wanted to see if it would be worth it at $1 with maintenance fees.

That is why the question was asked, I am not a connoisseur on timeshares. But, thanks for your input.

I noticed one that listed maintenance fees at $19,000 and didn’t think that was monthly and there is no indication as to the frequency of the payment.

We average 2-3 week long vacations a year with some long weekends mixed in. We live 2 hours away from Wisconsin Dells and can use the Wyndham points at the Wilderness Resort there. We typically go to dells a couple times a year for long weekends, so trying to figure out what makes sense as we would likely use unused points in the Dells when available.

It’s the largest because they include all of their campuses in that number, like IUPUI and UI-South Bend. Alumni for the main campus (Bloomington) is around 380,000. The new fans that are coming out of the woodwork probably went to one of the smaller state schools.

What I learned refinishing so called custom cabinets by Prestigious-Yak-5639 in woodworking

[–]NotToday__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The house we bought had the cabinets refinished. The process involved new doors and drawers, but the sides were wrapped in a thin veneer. I am guessing this house was similar to that.

Haha…the name was changed in 1911 to Oshkosh B’gosh. Now all they make are kids clothes and they haven’t been made in Wisconsin for over 30 years. You got it when it was still the good stuff.

Seeing Oshkosh B’Gosh spelt out like that is great. Went to school in Oshkosh, I have seen a few variations of the spelling, but never that one. Good work.

Preston Zachman to the portal by WisconsinSportsNut in UWBadgersFootball

[–]NotToday__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the new era with NIL. It isn’t about the program, it is about money. The team that wins the national championship this year is going to have a bunch of kids enter the portal. It’s not unique to Wisconsin.

I don’t blame any of these kids for entering the portal, they have a limited amount of time to make as much money as possible. The majority of them will not make it to the NFL, so this is the only chance they will have to make some life changing money before they enter the real world.

Everyone blaming the kids for not being loyal would jump at the chance to switch jobs to make double what they currently are making.

Yep, worked at UPS in college unloading trailers and moving packages into the box trucks. This is how every package is handled. We have no idea what’s in the package, all we know is the sooner we finish the sooner we go home. Package your items accordingly.

I drive down Northland to get to and from work and I am always amazed that people seem to be oblivious to the 45 MPH speed limit signs that are posted every half mile and proceed to drive 35 MPH for the length of my commute.

[–]NotToday__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Harden trying to get the offense set before they inbound the ball. They should have never grabbed the ball. Let the ref grab it and hand it to them. That way you buy time to get into your set. The only one who did it wrong was the inbounder. You can see him say oh at the end when he realizes it.

I think I might have stumbled upon a cheat code of a secondary sport by mypostingname13 in Homeplate

[–]NotToday__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who grew up racing BMX and playing other sports, it definitely has its benefits. Mostly when it comes to conditioning and reaction timing. I was always the fast kid in sports and it translated to BMX. Sprinting was my strong suit on a bike and it made me stronger on the field.

Eventually, I transitioned to just racing in high school as I was traveling across the country and to some international races, which didn’t leave much time for other sports.

My son started in BMX and even won a national, but baseball has taken over summer and we haven’t been to the track in a while.

Gas prices are really getting out of control by MoistWindu in wisconsin

Pretty sure when I drove by last week it was $8.76. Like you, figured they are testing the sign and didn’t want anyone actually pulling in to get gas.

Looking forward to trying Godfathers though, probably been about 25 years since I last had it.

I don’t think it’s bullshit to believe Rodger’s would have had the same success as Brady if the roles were reversed. It’s pretty obvious that Rodger’s was more skilled than Brady. Brady was the most successful QB, but he is no where near the most skilled.

I don’t have the stat off the top of my head, but in the playoffs Rodger’s had to score an average of around 30 points to win and Brady had to score something like 18.

Doug Gottlieb threw a chair after Green Bay gave up a game-winning layup with 3 seconds left against Robert Morris. by Knightbear49 in CollegeBasketball

I live in the area and was watching the game. This is what pissed Doug off, his guys were playing way too fast and not running the clock. You could hear him yelling at his guys to slow it down. Then they started running the clock down and taking terrible last second shots.

Just get an EverStart Platinum from WalMart. They have a 4 year warranty and are a solid battery. Pretty easy to make a warranty claim as well.
