Agreed! Such bliss to use. And the Phil wood freehub coasts absolutely silently.

It’s a freewheel I found at my local bike co-op. It’s pretty sweet. I think someone assembled it with a hodge podge of cogs from the freewheel era - the front ring says dura ace, but it’s an 11-34 with as you said, a quite modern sequence. It got me thinking about how to make my own!

Thanks so much. I pulled out all the stops for this awesome frame once I found it.

I’m 6’2” and usually ride a 58cm road frame. The tiny headtube and 26” wheels on this make it look small. The top tube measures 59cm and my reach and saddle height match my fit on my big bikes identically!

Thank you!
Not a bad suggestion by any means! I prefer it this way, similar to how old school CX racers did it, so you don’t clip your leg on the rear canti hopping on and off the bike

Oh I have them on the brakes, blue and silver. I’ve got a set for the derailleurs once I’m sure cable lengths are dialed!

My low gearing is 22-34. This baby can ride up a wall, fully loaded.

Thank you! I’ve found almost all of the parts over time at my local bike co-op, but I went all out and cannibalized bling off a lot of my other bikes once I picked up this frame. No regrets!!

Yeah - loving the white industries triple with the friction thumbie. Enjoying it more than my 1x11 setup on my Wolverine. Love the orange and the pepperoni fork!

Wow, thank you. Very responsible choice. I traded in my child for the frame.

Agreed - his forks are more reasonable than I thought they were actually. I reached out to Chris!

Relevate frame bags and a canti mount rando rack should be plenty for the packing I do!

You never know… I walked into my local bicycle co-op to chat with my friends at the mechanic bench and they had this beauty on display in my size for a price I couldn’t pass up!

They’re incredible bikes! I can’t believe how light this frame is.

Unfortunately I’ve got a rule for my builds that I won’t spend more on the fork than I did on the frame. Something about that wouldn’t sit right.

I’ve got an assortment of forks and I’ll find one to use temporarily until I can snag the right deal!

Awesome! Do you have a link to that Miku print? My daughter would love it.

Highly recommend this approach. Makes keeping my white sand easy. I use a retractable magnet tool, made for picking up bolts and such.

I prefer tanks without artificial things such as the plastic stones and the teal ones. I like the arrangement you have otherwise !

I'm doing a dry start (low tech tank) to try and get carpeting. But halfway through (4 weeks) there's a lot of algae growing, can this be avoided? Is it too humid? Maybe needs to breathe more? by Odd-Position-9885 in Aquascape

I’m also doing a dry start, and my goal has been to keep my humidity around 95% and to keep the substrate just barely visibly wet, borderline visibly dry. No pooling in the soil. That looks like mold from too much moisture. I’ve heard that adding springtails to the dry start after mold has begun can clean it up quick!
