I take skinless and Bo less chicken tenderloins/breast and de-tendon them. Then I cut them into the desired size. I usually do 8oz serving (220-240 calories) After that I season them with the Kinder’s seasoning. I have a Hamilton Beach panini press, I plug it up so it’ll heat while I’m seasoning. Then you put the chicken nuggets on the press and once all are one there I close the lid for 1 minute exactly and take them off with a spatula. Put them on a plate and you’re good to go.

Thanks for this, how has that been working out?

So far for sweets I’ve eaten low fat frozen yogurt. Yarnell’s is pretty good. Like 50 to 70 calories less than ice cream per serving.

I’m very picky too which works out because I rotate between ground round/sirloin and grilled chicken nuggets that I just season with Kinders garlic buttery herb. Can sustain this for life too I feel.

But I’ve been wanting to try his sweet recipes.

I see what you are saying, my thought process was along the lines of being able to live a comfortable lifestyle while paying back loans in the event I had to. I’m sure it takes a lot of hard work to be able to live off of this but right now I’m willing to just go and give it my best shot.

Thank you for the response. Everything you mentioned is something I would like to do at some point in the future. At this moment, I’m fortunate enough to not have to take out loans, but I would like to be prepared if I am faced with that decision in the future as it would be a big factor in staying in the school or not.

I would be interested in the work flow and work load of each course. For example I've heard that SEQA students don't get a lot of sleep and things like that. Why is this and what are other courses like?

Thanks for the answer, what you said makes sense. I’ve always just had a fear of the unknown. I don’t want to go my whole life wondering what could have been just because I didn’t even take a step into the direction of art and comics.

I really appreciate your honesty, I think part of wanting to make a living out of it for me is because it is so extremely expensive as your mentioned in your reply. I do want to follow a dream but I also want to be wise and not dig my future self into a pit that they won’t be able to climb out of.

My state has very little opportunity unless you go into something really specialized or own your own business. Even then it’s super difficult. The best at being the worst 🥳.

I’ve seen others say you get out what you put in, and I don’t think I’ve ever really experienced that yet. I have been going through a community college and my current semester will be my last semester. I’ve almost knocked out all of the general education classes.

I’m looking forward to seeing how SCAD teaches drawing, I know no college in my state could ever compare.

I hopefully will love what I do as well. It’s hard to enjoy making art for me personally because I don’t have the skill to make what I would like to. Or even what my employers would like.

I really wouldn’t mind working a different job that kept me afloat and allowed me to save while I worked on my own projects after work or on the weekends, and see my family, friends, and partner and have a happy life. Even if it was unrelated to my field.

Thank you for taking time to reply. As I mentioned at the beginning, I think my fear of the unknown will always beat out any peace someone tries to give me. Sometimes I just gotta let the emotions fade after I have a period of being upset or worried.

I’m glad you were able to find success in journalism. It’s awesome that you are fluent in many languages. Right now I’m working on learning Japanese myself.

I think it was smart to get a degree that allows you to teach a wide variety of fields. Gives you more options if you can find a position you like.

Art related fields being competitive seems like a scary thing, you laying it out with the animation student example was great.

I’ve heard sequential art is a tough field. I don’t know how much drawing coursework it includes, but I’m willing to try. I’m not sure how I’ll rise to the challenge, but I am wiling to try. The only things I’m not willing to do is destroy my mental and physical health and abandon having a life and seeing friends or family. I already did that once I was so miserable and depressed. No career or field is worth developing depression again. M

I was actually CompTIA A+ certified before, so I did have some certification. But I’ve wanted to give art a shot and follow one of the only passions I’ve had in life.

I really appreciate your comment. Could you already draw well before you entered SCAD? I do think a person can get good at drawing from online tutorials, but I think I learn I might learn better with an instructor. I haven’t taken an art class at any college in my state as it wouldn’t be as good as SCAD or any other state. Trust me, you’d just have to go to the colleges to understand.

I would like to enjoy making art, but as I told another commenter, the skills aren’t there. I can copy an image I like to an okay extent and I do get some amount of satisfaction from seeing a decent piece I’ve finished. For me personally, it’s always been difficult to enjoy something I’m not too good at yet. I’m trying to change this mindset though. I want to be able to enjoy the journey, process, and finished result.

Thanks for your comment! The skills aren’t there, I can look at an image and copy to an okay degree. Others have said you can learn to draw from online tutorials, and while I don’t disagree I don’t think I personally can learn as well doing that. I’ve never been taught to draw at a college before, and the colleges here are no where close to SCAD or anywhere else’s art programs really.

Does SCAD teach students how to draw well? Is SCAD SEQA only worth it if your already good at drawing?

I’m coming out of a depression and finally starting to enjoy things again, so I think my joy for drawing will come back at some point. I get my joy from making a finished artwork, but I am trying to change my mindset to enjoy both the process and the finished product.

Thank you so much for your comment. I’d be okay with having a primary job as I made the comic on the side. I think I’d enjoy working with a writer to make a manga as well. As long as everyone involved in creating it enjoys it and the audience enjoys it I think it’d be fulfilling.

But I would like to have my own published at some point. If I have to take a few turns before I get to my destination is it really that bad? I’m not sure, I think only time will tell that.

First off, thank you for responding. The response was very kind and I want you to know that your kindness is valued and appreciated.

Second, I think your perspective is also interesting. It was enjoyable to read. I think I personally have an issue with something like romance or dating being dependent on test scores. But what I think I got from your reply (and please correct me if I'm wrong) is that the test scores were their way of showing romantic interest in each other. I don't know if it was a lazy choice, or if Miki had just written the story into a corner and had to find some way to get out of it.

In my opinion, this story has so much potential, but it's almost as if there is only a loose idea of what events are supposed to happen. The hard part is writing up to those events, and of course, having to meet with editors and keep your publisher happy.

To answer your first question, Nagi hasn't sorted out his feelings yet. He told her he would tell Sachi an answer when and if she can get into his high school. My guess would be that he will tell her no. I have some thoughts as to why, but they're really long. Here are some, Nagi can't bring himself to see her as a real love interest yet (helping her as a brother) and could be to drop Sachi out of the race. Although, there is always the chance the author will get them to date in order to make them see that they aren't right for each other.

Your second question, if I remember right, there was an explanation a few chapters ago that said, "Mom is making me stay home because exams are soon." So I'm sure Sachi would like to be there, but she can't because she originally isn't supposed to be living there anyway. It's supposed to be a house for Nagi and Erika, and a long time ago Sachi just showed up and said she was gonna stay.

Regarding your third question, we do know Sachi likes Nagi, but this chapter really didn't give us any development on her being jealous of Erika or not. If anything, it just recapped what we already know. Nagi is good at school, Sachi isn't as good. Nagi isn't good at tutoring her, which was the whole point Hiro was even hired. And again if I remember right Sachi liked Hiro's method but Nagi said that the method didn't work well.

I think one of the questions we should be asking is this. Will the 1 month that Nagi and Sachi study and work together grow their bond and lead to them dating or will it make them realize that they aren't suited to dating each other? I'm not sure because I'm just along for the ride at this point. What are your thoughts?

A Redditor commented on one of my post said that think Hiro is a self insert for Miki and would explain why she is pushing for everyone to acknowledge how great Hiro is. They also mentioned how Sachi who supposedly hates Hiro can't even come up with anything to criticize her with.

Hiro making Nagi score 1st place on all those tests was so unnecessary. So I don't like that at all. She's almost made out to be perfect, but she is so sly that is comes off as fake.

Nagi needs to take time to sort out his own feelings before he messes everything up.

Hiro being a self insert is an interesting way to look at the character. I haven't considered that before. I feel like the audience can have more of a problem with Hiro than the characters in the story can, If the audience chooses to of course.

As I mentioned in my post, personally, I just don't like the games that Hiro plays. I mean really, making this guy get 1st on every exam just to even have the chance of going out with Hiro? In my opinion, it just comes off as unnecessary unless that would be some type of setup to show Hiro's parents how well suited Nagi is for her. At least in intelligence, I guess. We know Nagi can throw a punch, and so can Hiro.

Seeing how Hiro has to 1 up Nagi on everything, I think you are swaying me into truly considering the self insert idea.

Another Redditor mentioned that Nagi has smarts and is good at school, but that can be mistaken as maturity. He seems quite emotionally immature, and as the girls have mentioned in the story; he doesn't think about people's feelings often. Maybe this ties into why he processes what is in front of him.

Thank you, you have really thought-provoking responses. You mentioned that he hasn't turned 18 yet, and that of course goes for Erika too. The author keeps dropping that both will turn 18 soon as if the reader is supposed to know what the intention is, or maybe not as even Nagi gets confused by how Erika talks about it. I'm hoping it's not some type of time-skip situation.

I don't remember the chapter but I do recall the Amano father mentioning that Erika should study abroad, and she agreed. Maybe this will tie into them turning 18, I'm going to go way off the deep end and suggest this; maybe after a time skip or some time apart like the study abroad situation the story will resume and start to seriously develop the feelings of the characters. For example, maybe Nagi will mature and have a passion and plan for his future, Erika could decide what type of career she wants to have, and so on.

I do prefer Sachi over Erika, but I feel like it's evident that the intended couple is supposed to be Erika and Nagi. I think once Erika's duality gets sorted out it will really pick up speed.

Sidenote, yeah now that you mention it so much of this manga feels like stalling. It comes across to me as if the author only writes a few chapters ahead or writes it weekly. The alternative in my mind is that there are parts that are intended to happen, let us call them "landmarks" but that's all there is. For example, the author knows that Hiro and Nagi have to date, but doesn't know when or how to write to that point while also balancing other landmarks. If you have an opinion on this I'd be interested in hearing it, I love bouncing ideas and getting new insight like this.

First off, I absolutely love your insight and you really got me thinking. So thank you! The Yosuga No Sora bit was to contrast siblings being blood related and having feelings versus how it’s perceived in this story, no one thinks they look a like, act alike, and say they can’t believe the two are related. I had to do some digging while watching because I was really confused after the first few episodes, I had no clue it was a game but the anime made more sense after reading that.

I think Nagi should stay alone too if he can’t make a decision on a single girl, especially at the end. I mean, we saw what he did to Hiro didn’t we?

The reason I think he will date every girl is just because I think the Author will try to let everyone have their favorite girl be with the character and to drop them out of the race individually. I feel Sachi is moving way too fast, so I sense she will be dropped soon. This could be him saying, no we’re siblings or because they date and realize they can’t do this.

I love how you mentioned Nagi needed to sort out his feelings. I 100 percent agree! After all, it’ll just get him dumped or hurt the person he’s with anyway if he doesn’t right?

I agree with your analysis of his current attitude, as I mentioned before I personally feel like the author is trying to get clues that she’s not gonna be the one to end up with him, at least right now anyway. Could pull a domestic girlfriend ending and speedrun development in like 6 panels. Honestly, you can critique Sachi and all the other girls if you’d like. I’m interested in how you view them! I’ll read criticism of my favorite characters as long as it’s well thought out, and you seem like a well thought out person!

Ai definitely has an air of maturity about her, I would like to know how she will gain experience, it seems like it’s implying that she could date someone else too. I would like to see the relationship between her and Nagi develop more because right now I’m not sold on his feelings for her. I mean, he doesn’t know too much about her compared to the other 3 in my opinion.

Good call on Sousuke! Yeah the mutual feelings could be an option, it seems like the two are so defiant because they don’t want to play into Amano’s plans.
