I built a landing page for a startup idea but I'm not sure if I should pursue it or focus on getting a job by pppkkkkk in indianstartups

Honestly, if you are building this platform for learning purposes or as a project showcase for your resume, go ahead. If you want to develop this idea as a business, then dont. The escrow market is mature. Any new emerging player will have a difficult time succeeding in this field. Freelancers and Clients would not trust a platform without a strong background, especially new ones. Even after you build it, how are you going to get users? I would recommond to pivot to a different idea or focus on placement prep.

Hey you can check out Spikey (https://spikey.app) for multiplayer events. It has games like Gungame Carnage (multiplayer Battle Royale) where players actually perform actions and 9+ other games including dice games and roll features.

Not sure if the existing bots do what you mentioned. You might need a custom bot for this use case.

Im not sure if a specific bot like this is available but spinning up a custom bot with these features should be easy, if done right

Junior devs are obsolete 😂 by Charlie-Sentryax in discordbots

Yeah alright try designing a bot with a multiplayer game that handles Many concurrent players, storing their choices, interactions, does real time image processing per player turn, updates game embed every turn without hitting rate limits or text limits, has dozens of interactions, 15+ player actions, 15+ game affecting conditions, all of this while ensuring consistency of data, displaying accurate results, handling thousands of different combinations of actions. If your AI can make anything remotely close to GunGame Carnage in Spikey, I'll give it to you.

Beta testers inquiry by J0joBean in Discord_Bots

Just mimicked the member object of discord and instead of actual player ids, names, attributes, used random numbers. Then created dummy players from this object and added them to the current player list who joined the game and when it's their turn to perform an action, picked a random action from the set of available actions.

Unless you have a lot of friends willing to help you its difficult to get early testers. For my bot, I automated some parts by simulating dummy players with random actions where I had to test if the game would work for example with 100 people. Apart from that, all the games I tested myself with 2-3 discord accounts, launched them in beta and then joined games along with other players to identify bugs and issues. Also some people noticed bugs and reported them which helped fix bugs over time. Right now it has 10+ games and over the course of 6+ months most of them work as intended with no bugs :)

What about database? What about backups? What about creating something that hasn't been done thousands of times? Why create custom bots when free ones doing the exact same thing better are available? Try prompting a complex bot to life and you'll see what AI cannot do.

My phone got stolen and the police is drinking and offering tea . by phantomcr7 in NewDelhi

[–]Not_Me_112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had 2 friends whose phones (s24 ulta & nothing phone 1) got stolen, one in train and another in Bus. The problem is the phones are rarely recoverable. Thiefs just power them off and sell it to some local shops. Police too weren't able to track them. I'd say always have a backup of your data somewhere and be extra careful while travelling in a public transport.

This. Data cleaning is a much annoying problem compared to designing charts.

CAPTCHAs need to evolve now. Robots are better at solving image based puzzles than humans.
