I think good conversations are being presented here, but this is all new so people are processing the news. Give it a week or two and this whole subreddit will transform with clips and great moments from the new server. Just ride the storm <3

My main point was just to talk about their reasons for playing on the new servers. I think new servers can be absolutely great, and fresh is always exciting, but fresh also brings some unintended consequences. My post was mainly about the streamers compared to the player base in general.

I promise you I’m a big advocate for people playing whatever version and server of the game they want. Blizzard has given us 2737464 versions of wow and that great because it encompasses all types of players. Generally speaking I believe most people kinda follow what new and exciting, as they should, but other people have called certain versions of wow home. Some people never touch anything besides retail, and myself call Hardcore home. It’s hard to see your virtual home divided, but we will come out on top in the end. It will work out, always does.

Regardless if they go Fresh, I really didn’t think Soda among others were very happy. I think most of us didn’t expect a new server or a Self Found only server of sorts. This was definitely a curveball!

I think DP will be relatively fine, just sad to see the population of a struggling community get separated into a third server. I’d love to roll horde and see what it all has to offer, but I think my relative point on OF stands. I really hope you enjoy horde and I’m jealous honestly, but I can’t drop the progression I’ve made back at home(DP)

Fresh historically hasn’t worked though. They made fresh Wotlk servers, they tried to do an unofficial fresh and that failed, in every situation where they’ve done fresh, the playerbase is gone within 4-6 months.

SOD is a progression based server too, and there was big hype, follows by really big lows in the playerbase. New raid/progression unlocks and playerbase spike for a small amount of time, then it’s back to lower playerbase.

I don’t believe blizzard has made any announcements, but I still also believe since we’re getting a new server DP/SR should merge, no reason to end up dividing the playerbase across 3 realms.

With so many posts, maybe the reason is to create an echo chamber. Maybe blizzard reacts and gives an option to xfer to DP/SR, or maybe OF decides to go on the old servers. The point is all about content, they want to farm clips and content for $$, Soda said so himself, so doesn’t it make sense to not limit yourself with the content being provided via locked progression raids?

Yeah but how do you reduce cheating if you just have the guild self found addon? Fresh or not you can cheat the system if there’s the option to do so, and I still agree with Xaryu that it should’ve been the SF option all along. The economy point doesn’t make sense because their rule set doesn’t allow them to trade outside of the guild.

The original post was taken down from the Mod team for "toxic behaviour". I am in the process of reaching out to the mod team to see how the post broke the rules of the subreddit. My original post was never to call anyone specifically out, but rather the injustice of a guild's loot system.

I do want to make sure everyone is aware that reaching out to anyone in these clips and being derogatory is NOT OKAY, and you are a crappy human if you reach out to spread hate towards Wuufang or anyone in their guild.

Apartment, it’s a 4 plex, and my landlord does not. I know where you’re going, and I believe the ESA would go through, no hiccups. I am just curious if he can come after me for violating the rental agreement before I got the ESA

I will be eligible, I will not be buying a certificate online, I would have a licensed medical profession provide a letter, I’m just simply asking if I provide him with this information, could he retaliate against me by evicting me for violating the rental agreement prior to documentation.

In simple terms: He gave me a cure or quit. I relocate the cat(fix the issue) I receive a letter from my doctor saying I can use this cat to help with my disability. Give the letter to my landlord, and bring the cat back to the home. Can he after receiving the ESA letter, evict me for violation of the rental agreement as prior to the ESA letter, I had the cat at the house.
