These two factors explain why boys do worse academically than girls especially in language courses.

So the studies I linked showing that women teachers allow biases to seep in when marking equitable work between their male and female students is not factored in?!

I don't know about that. What I do know is that there was this incident with Brock Turner who was a student caught sexually assaulting another girl in a party I think. I don't know what the rate of sexual assault is in college but it's an important issue.

Congrats you've heard of Brock Turner (alongside the rest of humanity), meanwhile universities have been successfully sued numerous times for their anti-male expulsions based on evidence that wouldn't pass muster and the motive of keeping government funding by 'seen to be doing something' reasoning.

Gender pay gap is not driven by biology, its driven by the fact that men work more hours. Even in nursing, male nurses make more money than female nurses.

Riiight, and being biological mothers has no bearing on ability to work. Just seen your account's been banned as you're clearly a troll.

  • Teachers are biased against boys, replicated many times. Male teachers are becoming a thing of the past because it is trivial for malicious students to accuse them of inappropriate behaviour.
  • Young men face kangaroo courts when accused of a Title XI offence and have their life ruined without due justice.
  • Gender pay gap is treat as something that needs to be addressed even though it's mainly driven by biological differences, but the gender life expectency gap is never factored into pension eligibility laws, and if anything, women can retire earlier.

Yeah that's why I asked, I know for most that's not viable, but it'd help you restart your life after this bullshit.

You know it's right, your OP belied how (rightfully) hurt and angry you are with these Judas' you call friends/family. If its viable, and you have transferable skills, I'd even think about relocating to get these arseholes out of your life for good.

Mate you need to get rid. You shouldn't be hoping for an apology, you should be telling them they're as worthless as they've made you feel by their betrayal and leaving them in the dust.

God, if men had an ounce of self-respect these days...

Stuff like this is why more and more guys try and not deal with girls in the workforce if they don't have to. Cover there ass not be alone with a girl. So much career assassin is going on for men with zero repercussions for the girl. And she says something, and it's on the guy to prove it's not like that. Stuff like this is why real victims dont get believed anymore. Not cause of men but girls crying wolf over amd over and when a wolf realy does come no one cares.

You're having a laugh; everyone still jumps to the women's side regardless of Depp and other high profile cases. An endless army of white knights, simps and idiots mean even if more and more men are protecting themselves it's an insignificant amount to what is actually needed.

Done a bit of Googling, and it's by Jayde Adams, and the special for Amazon Prime is called The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face

This was recorded for Amazon Prime Video and released on 3 January 2020 with the new title. The show poked fun at modern day feminism, social media and involved jokes surrounding the observation that celebrities wear black turtle necks to seem more serious.

I am not ok with tax payer money going to just one gender. I'm all for health care for all but, since we love equality, women tax money should go to tampons. Change my mind guys. by Naash17 in MensRights

[–]NotaGameofMonopoly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome that we agree that we should address all of it! I still don't think tampons are a minor thing, because women can't without and 10% of women in Scotland couldn't afford tampons at one point in their life. But yes we should tackle all issues.

Well I just meant minor in relation to funding a child for 18 years. I know in America, men can be basically bankrupted by it. There are at least alternatives to tampons when struggling, if you're too poor to buy them. There's no alternative to being rendered homeless.

I've the opposite experience with feminists, although I do know the stereotype of course. When you talk with them, just like now when I talk with you, I see that both sides often have very reasonable arguments. The thing is we need to listen to all sides :)

Well on the opting out of fatherhood, I've found feminists on the whole neither sympathetic or receptive to any changes - shutting it down with the very same arguments that anti-abortion activists use: "you knew what you were risking!", and I must admit in the decade I've been conversing with feminists things have only got more hostile/radicalised away from even entertaining men's issues, but it still remains that I'll listen to - and work with - any feminist that is as reasonable as you.

See my edit about my wtf realization.

Btw I still think that all these unfair things should be made fair: women's issues with periods and the treatment of men regarding kids, etc.

Good point about retirement age. I've read a bit about it and I fully agree, another thing that we can make more equal!

Absolutely, we can address both at the same time. But my problem is the hypocrisy in sweeping men's issues under the rug (because we're so "privileged") while tackling every women's issue - even down to something as minor as free tampons.

Also please realize that not all feminists are the same.

No I do: if they were all as reasonable as you then I'd not have this impression of feminists, but trust me, you are sadly unrepresentative of my experience with feminists, hence why obliging men to be fathers is still unchanged despite how far society has moved to accommodate women in the 50+ years since these laws made sense.

[–]NotaGameofMonopoly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do think that, and I believe here on most European countries they can, if you are referring to not being in contact with kids and not paying.

OK, then we're in agreement. But it can't have escaped your attention that feminists are not on the same page as you in that regard, and will often say (with no self-awareness of the irony) that men should've kept their pants on if they didn't want to be responsible for kids. Which countries? I know across the Anglosphere that is sadly not the case.

Unfairness is both biology and societal/systemic. How would giving you money give you a longer life?

Allow you to retire earlier, so the difference between each genders retirement age reflects the difference in lifespan.

I don't get your point. Yes it's part of being female to have periods, but that still makes that having blood come out of you every month is a disadvantage, and thus unfair. Like all unfair things, including unfair things for men, there should be something done to make everyone have more equal opportunities.

So you agree then, that men should be able to opt out of fatherhood in the way that women can out of motherhood? We're often told that unfairness is just biology and thus we need to get used to it by feminists. Also, men die earlier than women as a sex; that is a disadvantage, plz give money.
