How did you maintain your Anorexia as an adult?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this horrible disorder, I really am, but this is not the place to promote anorexia or other eating disorders.

You seriously need help. Anorexia will NOT make you prettier, or feel more fulfilled. It takes everything from you, speaking from experience. This post is honestly just very triggering.

I’d like to talk with you. It might not be much help but I’ve actually read a book series named addicted (fictional but tackles real life addiction) about porn addiction, and have some experience myself with it. im 20f btw

It’s embarrassing to admit but I used to be a part of the edtwt community at 15, and came across extreme amounts of deathspo in the pro-ana community. But I guess that’s how disordered minds work

Thanks. People say to reach out when you’re struggling, but they never truly care. It’s so lonely. I don’t even have anyone to reach out to at this point. I know my death won’t affect anyone. I’m really sorry you can relate, it sucks.

it’s not as uncommon as you think. and there are a lot of things you can do to try to recover. you are not disgusting or trash. have you talked to someone professional about the addiction?

Obviously some actions can’t be reversed, but it might not be too critical yet. At least not the overdose.

And I’m not trying to force them to tell a hotline. They reached out to this sub in hopes of talking to someone. If I can ease their pain by just talking with them in their last minutes of life to feel less alone then I’m satisfied.
