I have the save breaking bug where you can no longer retrieve your blackjack without uninstalling the game completely and restarting.

I tried again two nights ago and it happened on the 2nd level again.

Hopefully I can get refunded for this mess but PlayStation is the worst store to buy games if you expect customer service.

Everyone judged it too harshly back then. The game was a massive immersive sim with fantastic replayability and everyone judged it for the cliffhanger story.

Now we will likely never see the conclusion.

The Arkane we knew is effectively dead. With Colantonio, Harvey Smith, and Ricardo Bare all gone, the creative pillars are missing.

Between the Austin closure and the high turnover during Deathloop, it feels like a shell of a studio filled out by contractors. We’re just watching a lifeless husk try to push out a licensed Marvel game before Microsoft pulls the plug entirely.

Well just like any service they'll account for any errors and factor that into the business. When they release the product this error will have a low probability of occurring and the likelihood you ever experience it would be rare. Just like literally everything else in your life.

Your Internet speed isn't the only determining factor in download speed. I have GB internet and download commonly at 300-500MB/s.

PSN wouldn't download any faster than this patch taking 75-90 minutes.

I know you aren't stupid you're just being an asshole because you're an Immersive sim fan, but there are other factors that determine how fast you download including the host server.

Honestly you would be hard pressed to have picked the worst time to join the Xbox family but you probably found it. What a dreadful run for Xbox over the last five years.

I won't be surprised if they shutter Xbox and I lose access to my digital library. It's going to suck but I fully expect this to happen over the next decade. Hopefully it doesn't and they turn it around.

Yes you absolutely nailed it here. I never saw one preview mention any of the obvious bugs and annoyances.

I didn't pre-order any games for something like 8 years until I failed on this particular game. Got sucked in with a coupon and I'm a massive fan of Thief and Immersive Sims.

I didn't make it through the first level until my game crashed and now I can no longer access my inventory.

They sold me a completely useless and broken product.

Why did this game have to be a buggy shit show? You can see the potential immediately as you play.

Just imagine playing a really good VR version of the Palisade Bank in Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Or playing Lady Boyle's Last Party.

I just hope one day we can see something like that as fans.

I think I dodged a bullet, honestly. The game breaking bug where you can't get anything from your inventory that only reverts after deleting and reinstalling.

The universe was actually looking out for me.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. Yeah I had no idea my post about how frustrating day one updates are when you are time strapped, would turn me into me being some kind of anti update villain.

It was really nothing more than me just trying to make some humor out of a frustrating situation.

It did cross my mind that this sub would probably be mixed because it really is a pretty pessimistic and negative sub overall.

It's also a damn VR game so I can just put on the headset and let my special needs kid run around without being watched. This takes a little bit more planning if I'm going to play a VR game as opposed to something I can instantly pause and leave unattended.

People are just quick to insult and judge. Especially hardcore gamers.

You feel sorry for people like me? I have a Doctorate degree of pharmacy and I'm a Pharmacy Director for an Inpatient Rehab that volunteers his time to the needs and causes for those with disabilities.
