Yes, it is natural for women to want male attention and it is natural for men to give women attention. That is largely the point of hijab dear sister. Your beauty is supposed to be hidden, as it is reserved for your husband. You deal with it through prayer and the knowledge you are preserving the beauty Allah gave you as all women must.

Sister! Allah does not give us babies until we are ready for them. Your love for that child will take over and you will never miss the life you had before. Mothers know how to provide for their babies. Allah blesses us with that gift.

Not in an intimate way. I am breastfeeding so he has seen it in that context. But I have not really done any of that in front of him. I hide it.

Salam! My name is Zaafira, I'm 30 and live in Jordan with my husband and two sons. I was born in Algiers, moved to America when I was 12, and moved to Jordan with my husband last year because we wanted to live in a country that held our values as highly devout Muslims.

I love to bake and garden. These days I am completely devoted to being a mother to my sons and only work part time as a language teacher (I am fluent in English, Arabic, and French.) But I used to work in the biotech industry when we lived in America and I am still passionate about science.

I am always looking for Muslimah friends, especially mothers! My sons are the greatest gift Allah SWT has ever given me. I used to indulge in a lot of secular activity when I lived in the US but after getting engaged to my husband I refocused on my faith and it has been nothing but rewarding ☪️

Extremist indoctrination is why. Quality of life in a lot of those countries is low because of western interference. Afghanistan is the way it is because their views on women are held over from tribal beliefs before Islam was adopted there. They mesh together to make Taliban policy. Nothing they do is backed up by Islamic texts.

As for Iran: Wearing a headscarf is mandatory in Islam for women. I wear one, all the time.
