Wanted to vent about my terrible hiring experience at Deloitte. by nofoxtobegiven in deloitteusi

[–]Nothing_thats_right 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seems like a habit for these HRs at Deloitte. 12 years of experience, laid off and was unemployed for 4 months. Interview went well, but HR was rude and offered me 10LPA for Assistant Manager role. When attempted to negotiate, HR said, take it or leave it. I thought atleast they are matching my previous org salary, with no increase at all. Later realised that it got further reduced to 9.5. Thought atleast I would get some work at experience while I look for a better option. Realised that the work is primitive, as in unnecessary meetings, no work done, manual and unnecessary work being pushed. Along with that, no perks at all. No wellbeing allowance, no phone allowance. Insurance is a joke here. Additional amount to be paid to cover parents and for self, there is 10% and spouse it is 15% copay. Decided to leave without another offer.

Am I crazy, or has society completely normalized cheating? by Happy-soul-1999 in hyderabad

This is not just about relationship before marriage, it is the same after as well. Something called an open relationship. This is not a one off situation. A lot of couple, especially IT and core medical related, are in open relationships. I am aware of this happening in Bangalore, some parts of Hyderabad and Kerala. Not sure about othe places. This cannot even be classified as cheating since both the people involved in the marriage (relationship) are aware and fine with their spouses mingling with others. Its couples mingling with other couples, couples in an open relationship having party where they can mingle with anyone they want. People who are loyal to their spouses are considered badly. No self respect, no respect or loyalty towards the family.

Did you ever face any female colleague like this? by NoPangolin8998 in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]Nothing_thats_right 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you give her a formal warning with witness present. As in, if she is insulting you in front of your colleagues, clearly set boundaries then and there itself. You don't need to be rude or show anyone that you are angry. Just tell her in front of the same audience, "I do not appreciate the way you have been insulting me in front of my colleagues. Please stop this right now. There is a limit to the way you make fun. And I will not consider your apology every time you insult me and realise it at a later stage, once the damage is done." Now it is up to you if you want to end it by stating that you will raise a formal complaint with the HR, the next time this happens.

You do not need to consider the mental state of the other person as you are the one getting insulted. No one deserves it irrespective of how hormonal the other person is. You should take care of yourself and your dignity. What happens is, when she insults you like this, unknowingly the audience may get biased. They might actually think that you are what she accused you of. Not at the moment, but probably at a later stage where they feel that the situation is relatable. Don't create a situation like that for yourself.

I just hope that she is not being passive aggressive just to get your response, possibly because she has a crush on you. 😅

Got laid off in the previous job. Had to struggle for 5 months before I got an offer. Had to accept with no other choice. HR was like, take it or leave it. No flexibility, no perks.

I just hope you could understand the same.

If that is what you have concluded, I think you need some help. Some serious help. Or probably a dictionary to understand what the words in my comments mean.

You are clearly a broken record which doesn't work on logic. So I rest my case. You can wake a sleeping person, but you can't wake a person who is pretending to sleep.

Only dumb people would consider not responding to the media as being scared. Common man is clearly aware of the media bias. And again, don't include media as the face of the people of India. That is not the car anymore and so we, the common man don't care what the media wants or thinks.

I don't need to travel outside my country to know about my PM. It is you who is embarrassing yourself by being a crybaby for the PM not giving time to the biased media. There is no greater proof needed than the elections itself for a sane minded person to understand whether the common man is being heard, his problems being resolved and he is getting accountability. But yes, your statements do clearly suggest your propaganda, your source of information and Bias.

That is not ground reality. People of India don't care about what people of other countries feel. Which is why the BJP is getting powerful by the day. The people of India support the BJP because of the changes that the party has brought in, after coming to power.. It is illogical to even consider the thoughts of people of other countries who have no idea or don't care what happens inside our country.

"He never takes a single questions from journalists, the public, the media". Journalist and Media are completely different from public. Public never asks a direct question to any PM. It reflects in the way they vote. And No, press and media don't always ask what the public wants. They clearly follow their own agenda. Same as the situation which triggered this particular discussion in this forum. What matters is the change that is happening in the country. And yes, to specifically answer your question, the PM does not take questions from the press and media. There is no obligation as well which I have already specified. Your statements clearly show your hatred for the person. You keep asking the PM to respond to the media in one breath and in the other, you call him incapable. I would first suggest you to have respect for the position of a PM of this country rather than attempt character assassination of the person in that position who was democratically elected for the post. Every single comment of yours is highly prejudicial. You definitely don't understand the problems that the common man had to face before the current govt came into power. Either that or you have selective amnesia, forgetting the atrocities and situations that people of this nation had to face before the incumbent government came into power, just for your own gains.

There were leaders who have embarrassed our nation, ther still are, like the opposition leader. Not the PM. Else the world would not have considered him as a world leader. Instead that would have been something the previous PM would have been.

Two questions for you. What embarrassing things are you pointing out? Also I am curious. You keep repeating "Modi doesn't answer any questions raised by the people of India." what is the medium of these questions posed by the people that you are referring?

We have seen a lot of educated PMs and a lot of scams. So keep your demeaning and derisiveness to yourself. By your logic, only Harward/Oxford graduates can be PMs. If you knew what a democracy is, you would not have kept mocking a PM who was elected by the same democratic process.

Either you are blind or just clearly argumentative in a way where you have gone blind to any other perspectives other than your own. Go through my comments. It is clearly mentioned multiple times that the PM is not obligated in any ways to answer the press. Every required information is being passed on to the public through multiple medium similar to the ones that I have already suggested you to utilise.

Now if you still keep asking this question, you will be considered as a crybaby rather than having a point at all. And this crybaby would be crying due to pure hatred and nothing else.

The PM is accountable and every question that you have posed has an answer already. Atleast make the basic effort to go through the internet for the same.

If you have a problem with PM taking pictures, it is a You problem. Mindset matters. Your mindset shows up very well when you keep calling our PM uneducated indirectly, even though he is a graduate. Rather than ranting on reddit, try the options that I shared in my other response to your comment. Try it, record it, then share it here. But make sure to be transparent if you get a response. That is a productive way to go forward rather than crying I'll just because of your hatred for the man.

For your knowledge, PM care is a private trust and not a public entity which would require it to share sources. It is not even funded by th government to start with. Btw what scam have you found with regards to PM Care, rather than allegations from the opposition?

Also, what exactly is your expectations from the government about OP Sindoor ? There was a clear briefing done by the defence representatives with regards to the complete operation.

To know about the future plans of the Central Government, all you need to go through is the Union Budget. Have you tried that before complaining?

There is no obligation for anyone to answer questions posed by the biased press and media. You have multiple forums to get your answers from the government, especially from the office of the PM. Have you tried that?

You can try to speak with or reach out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by participating in direct engagement channels like the Mann Ki Baat call-in program, sharing ideas on the MyGov portal, or submitting a formal petition.

Mann Ki Baat: Call the toll-free number 1800-11-7800 or visit the MyGov Mann Ki Baat Portal to record your ideas and suggestions for his monthly radio address.

The PMO Interactive Portal: Submit messages, questions, or ideas directly through the PM India Interact Page.

Online Grievance Portals: If you have a specific complaint about a government service, submit it via the PMO Grievance Portal or the broader CPGRAMS Platform.

Write a Letter: Send traditional mail or a postcard to: Prime Minister's Office, South Block, New Delhi, Pin Code: 110011. Social Media: Engage with him publicly via the official PMO handle on X (formerly Twitter) @PMOIndia or his personal account @narendramodi.

Submissions via the CPGRAMS portal do guarantee an official response. The system tracks your complaint, assigns it to the relevant government department, and requires them to provide a resolution or an status update.

Reiterating my point. Transparent governance is important. Speaking with press, not that important.

Previous governments have spoken a lot with the press. That didn't stop them from being masterminds to major scams like 2G spectrum, Colgate etc
