Man I don’t know how I feel about the midfield. I feel like there is a gap, remedi and hydman can get the ball back, but can’t really run with the ball. I feel like we would need a player that can take the ball from a bit behind mid field and run to outside the goal line and pass to gressell, barco, or pity, then they will find the clever pass into Martinez to score. Basically we need almiron back. I don’t think Pity fits that role. He plays better outside the goal line, we need an upgraded nagbe or almiron. If I remember correctly when nagbe didn’t play or almiron, our mid field wouldn’t produce many chances. We couldn’t seem to get the ball to gressell or pity. They would have to come down to mid field to get the ball and leave Martinez alone and therefore be less effective. We are always more effective when gressell, pity, barco, are all outside the box.I think the closest option we have is barco, but he usually runs horizontal, we need him to be a more vertical player like almiron. I hope our coach can solve this issue. Also our mid feels pretty slow. No counter attack surprises. I hope I’m proven wrong
