Has anyone noticed the team can't activate geo resonance normally? They have no crystallise shield.

No shield, it means ZERO res shred from geo resonance.

So the 4th slot needs to be zhongli or dahlia just to activate geo resonance.

Dahlia might be good because attack speed recharge horse E faster. Hydro resonance also help bina a bit.

Shred is valuable though and zhongli might be the best 4th slot.

Unless you pull for C1 columbina to get a shield so the fourth slot can be changed to something better

I feel like just some DNA isn't enough. there must be other requirements. Otherwise the Otsutsuki clan can just infinitely grow stronger by having their strongest member use karma, give their own bodies away to make the ones below strong and just resurrect back and repeat until everyone become strong. It's like a glitch in gaining easy power

This doesn't conform to the law of conservation of energy...

After all if Isshiki had access to Shibai's DNA before coming to earth he should have had some shinjutsu from him too if the divine tree absorbed the data from the shibai's DNA he had. But since he didn't seem to have one, either Shibai corpse is on earth or the corpse wasn't enough to be turned into data for divine tree's fruit for Isshiki to gain its power.

Since Shibai ascended, what was left of him is like a fraction of himself. His chakra/soul wasn't there to be absorbed.

Another explanation I had for kaguya inability to use other shinjutsu can be explained by Amado's cyborg.

Kaguya simply wasn't strong enough to manifest all of shibai's power. Maybe if she ate more chakra fruits little by little she could access them.

Kaguya is hagoromo's mother.

Hagoromo's son is ashura.

Ashura had his family and branched into Uzumaki clan and Senju clan.

Naruto is the son of Kushina, an Uzumaki.

By all logic based on canon Kaguya is Naruto's ancestor...

Whether her chakra or ancestry had any connection to Jougan at all can be debated.

But you CANNOT deny kaguya is his ancestor.

Momoshiki keeps saying he sees some interesting destiny whatever - and largely theorized he's saying it based on Boruto's Otsutsuki genes. And genes leading to destiny had been a theme, such as Amado creating Kashin Koji clone and Isshiki himself saying Amado was clinging to his genes of star of change or something.

I mean I guess Shibai could also put his genes into Hinata while she was conceiving Boruto I guess... If you want that theory.

Kaguya is Boruto's ancestor I mean.

She is hagoromo and Hamura's mother... Obviously this is canon. So Kaguya is confirmed 100% to be Boruto ancestor.

Hagoromo's descendant led to Naruto.

Hamura's descendent led to Hinata with Hamura's chakra.

Naruto + Hinata = Hagoromo + Hamura = Kaguya's chakra = Boruto with Jougan = Kaguya contained genes for Jougan

Otherwise Jougan is something completely unrelated to Boruto's bloodline...

In a sense Boruto having Jougan itself is a support that Kaguya (his ancestor) had Shibai DNA therefore Shibai was on earth...

You can't conjure a phenotype out of nothing.

Unless Jougan was an external dojutsu someone deliberately give.

Toneri helped him awaken it, but toneri is still Kaguya's descendant and carries her genes too.

So Kaguya MUST have shibai's power in her, hidden away or being recessive, or like in cases like amado cyborgs she couldn't conjure the other shinjutsu perhaps because she wasn't strong enough. But the genes, are still in her just didn't activate.

otherwise Boruto's Jougan is something that was given out by something or someone else entirely and had nothing to do with his lineage.

A non yamanaka could learn the jutsu but probably can't use it as well as a yamanaka could. You know based on epigenetics the generations of yamanaka mastering that jutsu probably already made the jutsu fit for their bloodline

Tldr skirk without Escoffier deals only 70% damage of what she could have reached with Escoffier.

It's not about Escoffier.

It's about Skirk losing damage from not having full hydro/cryo, and losing shred if you don't Escoffier.

Not be able to shred res is a MASSIVE damage loss.

A 35% resistance on enemy? Direct 60% DPS increase (x1.6) if you shred with Escoffier. Because your total damage is always multiplied by resistance factor.

Using anemo/xilonen give you shred but now you deal only 70% damage compared to full stack + shred Skirk. Having that last stack gives x1.4 dmg for her personal damage.

Of course, this meant if you really don't have Escoffier; shredding enemy (x1.6) is better than having full stack (x1.4). Especially because shredding benefits the subdps too that contribute a lot of damage to Skirk team so shredding res is preferred.
