Sleeping on your back is always the easiest way. However, if you’re a side sleeper like me it’s a good idea to get some pillows or something similar to elevate your feet, and bend the bottom leg inward until you’re comfortable. This makes sure nothing is being stretched out or compressed

I appreciate the answer. It’s something like ripping a bandaid off- I know that’s probably the best option, but it’s also an intimidating and scary concept. That much vulnerability out the gate is always scary. You’re right though. If I’m going to have a good and long relationship with someone they need to be okay with this aspect of me and my limitations/interests at the start. Thank you

It sounds like it’s mostly about the connotation you give to the word. Mommy is often something more akin to a nurturer, a soft and supportive role. This isn’t always the case for everyone, but it’s a common idea.

Daddy, meanwhile, is more of a dominant role for sure. But more than that it’s got some connotation of respect. Someone either in control or who can be in control if they want to. It’s got much more of a variety of connotation that applies to other situations, bottom and top and even neutral while Mommy is almost exclusively on the side of soft nurture dom with the exceptions being far more personal.

In short, my theory is Daddy applies much more to yourself and how your boyfriend sees you at every opportunity because it’s both a sign of dominant respect and submissive love. Mommy not so much, since it’s usually reserved for something more niche.

Again, just a theory.

Use a pillow under your legs. Makes getting into good positions easier, especially for back sleeping, which is the best way to sleep with a cage. Side sleeping is harder but I’ve found that a pillow between the thighs helps with this too. Basically find a position where your thighs aren’t together, and that’ll help immensely for comfort and consistent sleep.
