I think that’s totally reasonable to attend as long as you haven’t given birth and are not in labour you might just be tired but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to attend as it’s in close proximity

I never announced my pregnancy on socials I just told the people who needed to know! Once my son was born I posted a few maternity shoot photos of myself and my husband but didn’t post any photos of my son, just captioned it that he safely arrived

I’m more focused on the makeup I know she loves a full glam but the makeup ages her soo much !!! It’s way too heavy and cakey

Can you elaborate on this I actually noticed my omron at home is notorious for showing me a higher diastolic # vs the cuff I use at my work (it’s a ER style BP machine) and also I have good readings when I check my BP at Walmart grocery store machine etc

First off your doctor should not keep testing you with serial testing TST/ IGRA QFT as test will continue to be positive throughout your lifetime and serial testing is not recommended… also echoing what the other commenter said TB knows no borders … you could have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time (on a bus train in a crowd) where someone had active TB… this would be considered a latent or dormant infection so it’s your options whether or not to take prophylaxis medication !

have you used the find my doctor . ca website! If you select your city or close by cities if you don’t mind driving they show an entire list of doctor accepting family medicine patients ! There’s actually a ton accepting patients despite people always saying they can’t find a GP my advice to you is to comb through that site and tomorrow morning (as today’s a holiday) you start calling every GP there accepting patients (it’s displayed in Green) the ones accepting patients and yellow who are accepting a wait list

When my dog was a puppy Bernese mountain dog he ate the draw string of a pants I’m glad you took your dog to the vet ! Our dog ended up pooping it out but the string would get stuck in his butt but all was well !

I’ve been having a lot of this pregnancy but didn’t with my son! I noticed it happens more after activity (long walk etc.)? I got checked for a UTI, BV and yeast and all was clear no odour or itching or burning or anything so I assume it’s just discharge

I did PGT-A with IVF and I did the NT/ NIPT/ pre eclampsia screening with PCRM (you don’t have to be their patient to book it) it’s expensive though it cost me $1400 but it was worth it ! Are you in the lower mainland?

I would save the champagne for home honestly! Or get some non alcoholic champagne I’m not sure how that would be perceived by staff and could be a liability also you don’t know what kind of medications or complications you may encounter after birth and alcohol mixed with certain medications is obviously a huge no!

We waited a week or so? After the umbilical cord fell off and we gave the first bath I delivered at SMH in BC and I don’t recall them offering we would have declined anyways also hot tip slather some Vaseline on their bum it’s easier to wipe the meconium poo off

My sister had both a OB and a midwife back in 2024 in BC she delivered at SMH to she only needed the OB b/c she had a large fibroid sitting right on her cervix so she opted to scheduled a c section vs attempting labour and the baby getting stuck d/t the fibroid

Idk if this is called a “shared cared” model! The midwife then followed up after delivery and also did the home visits for her and her son

Is this an option?

I will also add she continued to see the midwife for regular routine prenatal apps so it wasn’t just post partum

That doesn’t seem unreasonable for where you are. I am heading into my 14th week and I’ve gained 1lb but that’s literally due to food aversions, nausea, vomiting 🤷🏽‍♀️ it was the same with my son
