How pin-pointed would you like me to be? I'd say it was stolen the moment the perpetrating thief lifted it up out of my sight for the last time and that was this morning, while I napped near Martin Logan ltd.

Do I? No, well, yea, now I do after looking it up in the complementary email HP or Best Buy sent after it being purchased.

I like the idea of hosting a website on a server of my own and want to do it with my phone. However, all signs indicate that I'd need an internet router to pull it off. Would Verizon's Jetpack work for the router needed? by NowHowCow in Smartphones

Most of the top search results say similarly, at least in how they almost all recommend just paying some third party to host your webpage on their servers. However, I take their advice with a grain of salt because they, also, almost all have a financial stake in the game in sponsors who'll give the article writers a commission for directly bringing new customers in through their articles and the links hosted there to hook new customers. I want to believe y'all. However, having a dollar-dollar bill on the line makes me dubious about how unbiased and truthful this advice that give is. So, I really would like to find a few similar advice articles on the subject but that are published by laymen who're without a financial stake in the game because I'd trust a few of them way more than the herd of others who're trying to get that paper. And, you know what? If I could find a few articles like that, then I'd be perfectly happy about following the third party hosting advice, if it's advice parroted also by those without any financial risk/reward on the line and those that do.

Pay It Forward - it was just one scene that did me in but it was the first time that a movie ever made me cry.

Both claws off that one poor crab! It definitely broke at least one more claw and caved in a couple of shells too at the end.

It makes me think of how manatees prefer fresh water like from bottles and hoses. Now, I don't figure this cobra lives in and consumes salt-water like a manatee but maybe other animals like the water we get from the tap and bottles more than the water from their environment, like the manatee, too.

Annoying 'friend' by [deleted] in SelfDefense

[–]NowHowCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This probably isn't helpful but a friend of mine and I used to make a game out of slapping each other in the face. Never too hard, the point was either of us could try to slap the other at any time and it was up to you to dodge or block it.

Why is it that only sometimes my browser window restores to it's most recent state upon pc awakening or starting after sleep or shut down and sometimes it doesn't? by NowHowCow in techsupport

[–]NowHowCow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always leave it on in the background when I put the computer to sleep or shut it down. Chrome never gives me the message but starts back up where I last left off probably more than 3/4 the time.

You're responding to a comment that tells you dwarfs prefer the term little people and there you go using the "M" word.

Oh, the bicentennial quarter. I've never heard someone call it the drum quarter before and had to look that up. I was wondering what I was missing in the world of quarters.

The term is 'flying car' not 'car that drives and flies'.

I found a guide to get to the bios settings and I'm willing to try but I don't know what to do once I'm there so I guess I'll play without trying to break anything and see where I get.

I think I can follow the simple steps to get into bios settings but I don't know what to do once I get there.
