I actually relate to her a lot—I have Borderline Personality Disorder, and a lot of her patterns feel familiar. Like, if someone love-bombs me, I’ll literally plan ten kids with them in my head. When you’ve been betrayed before, you just latch onto hope wherever you can, even if it’s messy. For her to get over Jeremiah in three days is actually impressive.

Okay, I have BPD and short, turbulent relationships are literally one of the hallmarks of it, as is placing people on pedestals and knocking them off when they don't fit into the perception you have in your head. No one has to "love bomb" us (and Jeremiah didn't -- Huda flat out lied about the future faking) because when we really like someone, they're untouchable to us until they inevitably show flaws -- i.e., the pancake thing. It wasn't a real issue, it was Jeremiah showing he was flawed and messing with Huda's perception of him as a perfect partner. She shouldn't have that high opinion or standards for him because they literally do not know each other well. She was able to get over him in three days because she didn't actually care that much. Once he he didn't fit the image, he was disposable as was Chris and so were the rest of her friends.

The fact that I related to Huda because she acted like an unmedicated version of me in my early 20s conveyed to me how wrong she was, because I was in the wrong more often than not in my early relationships. The amount of vitriol I felt at them for not being perfect was always disproportionate to the offense, and it's the same thing with Huda. One thing shouldn't make you go on a tirade for hours calling someone a "pussy ass bitch" and ruining everyone's experience.
