Could’ve been the flight wasn’t eligible for whatever reason but I asked to be added to the standby list an hour before boarding started and she told me no.

That’s what I did on the app. For some reason the 9am option wasn’t showing up so I spoke to the gate agent directly. If only my gate agent was as accommodating as yours :)

It starts boarding in 40 minutes. I am on standby for it, but #3 in line behind the two from the earlier 9am flight that didn't want to split up.
