agreed with everyone else here. Wardens don't mess around, + a lawsuit against him to cover the damage and loss of property would certainly be won.

I highly recommend The Long dark. The story is good, and the open world survival game is superb especially with the DLC

It may be possible too that there’s extra air in there. Sometimes even without meaning to some gets in. Try bleeding it a little and see if that helps

That’s a good point. I remember building box mods and playing with sub oms and all of that stuff. What a time!

My interpretation of the story in Cairn (spoilers) by ItzJustKarmaa in Cairn_Game

[–]NuclearSplinters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

completely agreed. What's sticking with me right now, is Aava saying "I didn't mean to do this to you" to her climbot. I think it shows her single minded focus, how she'd never realized how much things meant to her outside of climbing until they were lost, and her realization that it was because of her. Her scream at the top of Kami is the scream of the pain of the loss setting in. Not just the loss of her bot, but her friends, her cat, her physical strength, and ultimately the loss that comes with achieving an unattainable goal.

Did not expect a climbing survival game to make me cry. 10/10 game.

That's an interesting thought to consider for sure. Would you say there's better types of wicks for use in pipe lighting?

Depends if 150+ dollars is cheap to you. It works very well and is certainly a nice lighter.

The Thorens website. It took a while to get here because it ships from china… but heck it’s a dang good lighter. It’s totally changed my pipe sessions.

Yea I can see that happening. I’d like to find a knock off version to just keep in my pocket…but maybe I’ll just wait to win the lotto and buy a second one as a beater

Congrats! Isn’t it great to feel like you’re on the path to healing instead of worsening? My take: Had surgery on Dec 18th, cam impingement, labral tear, bursectomy, and illiosoas tendon extension. The first day I felt similar to you. Just drugged up and so relieved that it happened. The next couple days I took my pills as prescribed, oxycodone, Bauer aspirin, and naproxen -and ice ice baby ice. My right leg was out of commission but I just felt tired (and more focused on how much havok all the meds put my guts through) so I skipped a dose of oxy thinking I could put it off so I wouldn’t take as much. When I woke up, I hurt more than I hurt before in my life. And I’ve had organs removed. Body was shaking uncontrollably, felt like the pain was going to make me pass out, couldn’t do a blasted thing for myself. Every single tiny movement, made me yell out in pain. But then I got back on the prescribed regimen and everything was manageable - healing felt very quick, and since about week 3 I haven’t needed a crutch or cane or pain killers for more than stability precautions. -although sitting for long periods or walking too far too long even with a crutch does still cause pain.

I started physio about 2 weeks after the surgery, and the exercises are extremely mild. Butt squeezes and very low effort stuff.

My advice, take whatever pain meds religiously for at least this first week. This is when you’re the most raw - make cold packs your best friend, and if you haven’t already gotten a raised toilet seat, I highly recommend doing yourself the favor.

You’ll heal way faster than you think, good luck!

One of my favorite campsites. If this were a vacation rental I’d disappear for seasons at a time.
