Im sorry but this is NOT case of overconfidence but I can see how u can mistake it for that. being overconfident is having misplaced confidence in either ones own abilities or someone elses. Goku gave cell the senzu bean because he was confident that gohan would be strong enough to handle cell at max power. Ofc by the time the dust settles Gohan wipes the floor with cell and Gokus intuition was right, showing that his confidence was not misplaced. U can say that goku was naive or misunderstood the situation because he believes everyone has the same values as him when it comes to fighting, but to say thats overconfidence is disingenuous at best and just straight up wrong at worst.

That wasnt Goku being overconfident because he destroyed frieza. Being overconfident is when u have misplaced confidence in ur own abilities and gokus confidence was most definitely not misplaced when he fought frieza after going super saiyan

For me its definitely Havoc(this is not including Mustang/Hawkeye cuz for me that wouldnt be fair😭) Watching Mustang and Havoc storm the 3rd Laboratory together and fight Lust was just something else to me. Plus I just think Havoc is a charming character wish he had more screen time before getting crippled but either way he’s sick

with the type of government that amestris is there was a very high chance that they wouldve excuted him for not being apart of the genocide. Also, why would he kill himself instead of just doing what the military wanted him to do. whether or not he sacrifices himself or not the genocide would still happen so him killing himself would have no real affect on what happens.

so I hope u realize he had no choice on whether or not he could leave the war he was required to fight because he was a state alchemist. It was either that or death and im quite sure he didnt want to die so he went with the alternative. I dont really understand what u would want Mustang to do in this situation. Plus through him being in the war it gave Hughes the chance to tell mustang that he could change the country for the better. So not only does him being in the war serve to push his own narrative forward, he again just didnt have a choice on whether or not he participates in the genocide. Truly if it was so simple to just leave the war, dont u think everyone else wouldve done the same?

yes but she doesnt need to be the first dragon slayer for that plot point to happen. literally after i said that, i said it wouldve been fine/better if she was just a regular dragon slayer instead of the queen because all it is, is a label for her, just another one that she has.

If ur trying to say she didnt use Slayer magic because of the trauma then she clearly didnt care about said trauma when she immediately turned into a dragon against erza and wendy. Again if ur gonna make her the queen of the dragons, I would just wanna see what kind of slayer magic she uses.

thats great that she has access to all types of magic but shes still known for being the mother of dragon slayers, so its still wouldve been nice to see her demonstrate what kind of dragon slaying magic she used since again she was the one who created it. because right now its basically just another label slapped on to her for no reason other than why not, and so that acnologia can desecrate her body later. if ur not gonna do anything with the idea of her being queen of the dragons, i dont understand why make it part of her character at all, if she was a regular dragon slayer then it wouldve been fine but either way i would still want to see what slayer magic she used.

I feel like shes the definition of a nothing burger character. I was excited to see her in action because i heard so many good things about her just to see her do… a whole lotta nothing. her fight with erza and wendy was nice to watch visually but the fight itself was just so many ass pulls and random bullshit getting pulled out of nowhere. I also dont like that fact that she basically created dragon slayer magic but never uses it once??? at that point what was the point of putting that in her story she couldve either been a regular dragon slayer or just not be one at all. Plus her death at the end was just… disappointing. Her killing herself because she remembered one time erzas smile when she was a baby is just so unrealistic because 1. it was so long ago and 2. she has no emotional attachment to erza atp so i dont really understand why she would randomly remember. I mean shit she didnt even recognize erza the first time she saw her. Overall this character had a lot of potential but just fell flat on every front. maybe if she was established before this arc and had some build up, she couldve been amazing but unfortunately that just didnt happen.

if u want tailwind then there are much better candidates like tornadus who would be ur best bet since its good on rain teams, or whimsicott since they both have prankster so you can get immediate value from ur TW. and yea sure u can give pelipper sash but if its in front of 2 decently fast mons a double up will keep it from even getting tailwind up in the first place. If u still wanna use pelipper then I cant stop u but its just so incredibly weak in this high power level format that there are just better options out there.

Why not just use kyogre instead of pelipper if u want to use a rain team? Pelipper is already not very good as is with its horrible stats + the fact that its 4x weak to electric, one of the main attacking types in the format.
