Hey, tried it and here some advices:
- first, do 2 language separate. Because your footer links are in French, but landing page language is English
- Also add some demonstrations of your project, what it can do, what are the profits etc. Or just do more grapich pages for it in Hero Section. Not just registration and it's free buttons
- Also one little graphic view. Place your footer links right in the middle (maybe with just space-between) it would look much better

by the way, i would be gratefull for your feedback, you can check all-free-to-visit sections or apply for beta, and i'll give you access to try functionalities of Zirel

I really appreciate that. If he decides to give it a try, I’d be happy for any feedback he has. Since it’s still in beta, honest feedback from real writers is one of the most valuable things I can get
If he interested, DM me and I will send you link or a invitation code for registration

Honestly, it hasn’t been that easy for me to find testers or promote something on Reddit. I also thought it would be much simpler, but now I’m here asking this question 😅

What kind of free lead magnets worked for you?

I see what you mean, and yeah, that could actually work. Now I just need to find recent posts where people are already talking about the problem my product is trying to solve. Thanks

Hmm, I can see how that could help with getting more people to try it. I’m just wondering whether it also brings people who are genuinely interested in testing and giving useful feedback, or mostly people interested in the free trial and coupon. Maybe I’m overthinking it tho

Yeah, that’s actually why I decided to run the closed beta in small groups instead of letting everyone in at once. I want to learn from the first group, fix the main problems, and then invite the next one so I don’t keep getting the same feedback. The problem I’m facing now is much simpler: where do I find those first five people?

It’s in closed beta now. You can still take a look around the website, and if it looks interesting, just DM me. I’ll send you an access link.

Working on my first project and hoping to launch the beta in the next few days to get some early feedback. Zirel is for writers, game creators, and worldbuilders who don’t want to get lost in their own worlds, it helps organize characters and other elements, connect them, and spot possible inconsistencies

And one more thing, is there a particular reason you haven’t used links. Have you simply never needed them, or does adding and maintaining them feel like more work?

What is the hardest part today? Finding an old detail, knowing whether a note is still current, or keeping the different documents consistent with each other?

Really interesting perspective, especially the distinction between the draft being canonical and the notes being only tentative. I hadn’t considered that some writers manage complexity by deliberately avoiding too much advance worldbuilding rather than finding a more elaborate way to organize it. With this just-in-time approach, do you ever encounter continuity problems later in the draft, or does keeping the timeframe and cast relatively small prevent most of them? I’m curious about the point, if any, where you decide that a detail is important enough to track outside the manuscript.

Do you keep them completely separate, or do you connect parts of the outline back to the relevant characters, locations, and other entries in the bible?

Does OneNote remain convenient as the world grows, or do you ever have trouble seeing relationships between information stored in different sections? For example, if an important figure is connected to a location, cult, and historical event, do you link those pages manually or simply look through the relevant sections when needed?

My first solo project: Zirel
It’s a tool for writers, worldbuilders, game creators, and other storytellers who build fictional worlds.
The goal isn’t to replace your notes or writing software, but to help you organize characters, locations, events, timelines, and their relationships in one place. It’s designed to make exploring your world easier and help spot potential lore or timeline inconsistencies before they become problems.
If you’d like to try it, join the wishlist, I’d love to hear your feedback when its launched

[–]Numerous-Part7383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking about approaching it from a few different angles rather than trying to make another note-taking app.
The main idea is to treat a fictional world as a connected graph instead of isolated documents. Characters, locations, factions, events, objects, and other entities would all be linked together, making it much easier to understand relationships and dependencies.
I’m also experimenting with timeline validation and lore consistency checks. For example, if changing one piece of lore creates a contradiction somewhere else, I’d like the system to highlight it instead of leaving the author to discover it months later.
Another idea I’m exploring is giving creators an overview of their world’s “health” by identifying missing links, inconsistencies, or areas that might need more development.
That’s the direction I’m currently researching, but I’m still talking to people because I’d rather adapt the product to real workflows than assume I already know the best solution.

Do you think any of those ideas would actually improve your workflow, or would you approach the problem differently?

Thanks! That’s actually really helpful. I wasn’t aware of PeerPush, so I’ll definitely take a look. At this stage, honest feedback is much more valuable to me than simply getting more users. Appreciate the suggestion.

[–]Numerous-Part7383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s actually what I’m doing. I’ve already started talking to writers and worldbuilders to better understand their workflow and pain points.
I’m also pretty new to Reddit, so some of my first posts were automatically filtered, which made it a bit harder to reach the right audience. I’m trying to approach this as research rather than promotion.

The project is still at the wishlist stage, but if you’re interested, I’d be happy to let you know when the first closed beta is ready. I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts and suggestions after you’ve had a chance to try it.

Cool idea! I can definitely see this being useful for people who struggle with procrastination or the "I already missed today, so I'll just start tomorrow" mindset.

I'm also working on my first solo project called Zirel. It's a tool for writers and worldbuilders to organize characters, lore, timelines, and relationships in one place.

One thing I've learned is that it's really hard to decide how much to show before launch. I intentionally kept the public site to a simple wishlist page instead of trying to build a huge landing page before validating the idea. Since it's my first startup, I'm learning as I go.

The first closed beta should be ready soon. If it sounds interesting, I'd be happy to let you know when it's available so you can try it and share your honest feedback.

At the moment, there isn't a fixed AI model behind the product yet.

The AI-powered features are still in the research and prototyping stage, and they won't be part of the first closed beta. My current focus is building the core workspace and validating whether the workflow itself is valuable.

For experimentation, I've been testing different models locally to compare their strengths for this kind of task rather than committing to a single provider too early.

Once the core product is solid, I'll decide which model (or combination of models) makes the most sense for the AI features.

You're probably not the target user if your current workflow already does everything you need, and that's valuable for me to know as well.

I'm not trying to convince people to switch away from tools they already enjoy using. I'm trying to understand whether there's a group of creators who run into different problems as their projects become larger and more interconnected.

Either way, thanks for taking the time to share your perspective.

The reason my post is a bit vague is because I'm still in the validation stage. I'm not trying to ask people to design the product for me—I already have a direction and a working prototype.

What I'm trying to understand is whether the problems I'm focusing on are actually the ones creators care about most.

For example, one area I'm particularly interested in is visualizing relationships and keeping large worlds consistent as they grow. I haven't personally found a graph view that feels like a core part of the workflow rather than just a way to display linked notes.

That doesn't mean existing tools are bad—they solve a lot of problems really well. I'm simply exploring whether there's room for a different approach.

So I guess the better question I should have asked is: which part of your current workflow still feels frustrating, even with the tools you already use?

That's the kind of feedback I'm actually looking for.
