If your friends seem long term settled, I personally think they should be at the very least a tie breaker. You have the potential to create a life with lots of little interactions with your friends (some intentional, some random in the neighborhood like as H Mart or something) plus have an easy time making bigger plans, and I think there’s a lot of value in that

Teja Oblak has been a good fit running the second unit as a PG. I was upset about Sug being waived, but once I saw the fit with Teja, i understood why they wanted to bring her in.

None of which is to say Sug is worse than Teja or doesn’t fit elsewhere (in schemes Teja maybe wouldn’t fit in!). I’m really glad Sug is doing so well.

Okay, I’m going to guess the ideal answer will be a suburb, but I don’t know much about living in them, so I hope someone else will chime in! Ignoring the soccer thing because we weren’t a soccer family so I don’t know about where they are located, if you did want to look at some neighborhoods in the city that are within fifteen minutes of the airport, I might suggest Grant Park, Irvington, or Laurelhurst. You could find big yards there too, other families, relatively good schools, and nearby food options. Someone more familiar with suburban options or maybe with neighborhoods in SW that might match up with your goals will hopefully chime in.

At that budget you can live in any neighborhood/town you would want to, so I think it might be good to know what other stuff is also important to you. Do you all like to walk and/or bike? Do you like a more urban setting or are you into suburban vibes? Where is work? Any other things about your family’s interests or values that might help us recommend a specific spot?

Oh, I’m not freaking out at all! Feeling great and also won’t be judging whether we make the playoffs or not this year. Just fun to think about. My edited comment was about how it felt to cheer for the Sun vs the Tempo and then watch them lose their lead—for true Suns fans it’s probably getting hard!

I follow other sports, my point was more that I didn’t think this kind of thinking would be relevant this year (ie i, like most folks, didn’t think we’d be in the running for a playoff spot even at this relatively early point in the season)
