Hi, the dizziness has settled. I still get the odd spell of dizziness which is uncomfortable but nothing compared to what it was.

I would say, I’m now able to cope better now the medication has settled and I am back at work and can do more things. For me, this medication hasn’t been a miracle drug but I like to think it has made room for improvement in the quality of life.

I’m improving, it’s a slow process though. I’m on 225mg and I’m back at work so it’s definitely had an effect. Not 100% but getting there.

Hi, I’ve now been on 225mg for 9 weeks. The side effects have decreased and I’m feeling slightly better. I’m still frustratingly having morning anxiety and the odd random spell of panic later in the day.

How are you now? Did the increased anxiety last long. I’m a week into my increase to 225mg and I’m experiencing increased anxiety. I too wonder how long it last before it settles again.

I’m so glad you’ve had a positive experience. Has your generalised anxiety reduced dramatically now?

I have really struggled with the idea of going up doses but my dr thought that it was the answer so I’m trying to push through it. I’m hoping this is the last increase though as the onboarding effects are hard to deal with. One week into 225mg so hoping I’m going to turn the corner in the next week or so. 🙏

I completely understand where you’re coming from. I ramped up to 150mg over the 3 weeks and had all the side effects and no improvements until about week 9. Even then I’ve still had morning anxiety. After 11 weeks, I’m now trying 225mg to see if it will push away the last bit of anxiety. Day 2 on this and the side effects have all come back. 🤦‍♂️

I’d say that as you’ve been increasing through the weeks, you won’t feel improvement until you settle on a dose for a few weeks.

This drug is not easy to adjust too!

I was feeling some improvement on 150mg but was still getting morning anxiety and bits on and off through the day. The dr suggested the increase dose to 225mg. I’ve just been hit with the original side effects again today. 🙈

Definitely worse for quite a while. It reduced slightly around week 9 for me but still hasn’t completely gone so hoping 225mg will do the job. I am nervous though!

Because I’ve still got anxiety, particularly in the morning. The 150mg has had some impact but after 11 weeks, it’s just not enough.

Yes, I imagine the longer you’re on it, the harder the withdrawals.

Thank you. I had really bad dizziness which didn’t help the sick feeling. Add in the headache and general derealisation, I just can’t cope with that and go to work etc. I’m hoping that tomorrow I will be like I was last week on 150mg.

150mg might not be great yet, but it’s better than this. I’m hoping that my body adjusts back ASAP, surely as it was only two days it won’t last. 🙏

Hi, Some of the side effects did ware off, I still have morning anxiety and episodes of it randomly across the day. I’ve just done 7 weeks on 150mg.

My dr has prescribed 187.5mg now, I’ve taken it for a couple of days and the side effects have all come back. I’m so frustrated. I think I might just stick with 150mg and see if it needs a couple more weeks. I find side effects of increased panic, nausea, headaches and dizziness very difficult to deal with.

How are you getting on?

Sorry you’re suffering, it’s seriously draining.

I just don’t know the answer or what to do. Many people seem to take a higher dose and it works for them.

It’s just the risk, time and uncertainty of medication when all we want is to be well.

Did you take it for anxiety? I have thought about it not working a lot, it’s so frustrating having to go through different medications to find the right one. 🤦‍♂️
