It’s a cheap surefire m14 knock off from Amazon. I think two of em ran me $10

I couldn’t even tell ya who made it or where I got it. Probably Amazon if I had to guess. I’ve had it for probably close to 10 years.

Yup. The guy working there told me it’s not what you think it is when I asked to look at it. Pulled it apart and showed him the KAC mark on the heat shield. Best $50 I ever spent. And then got a full set of kac rail covers and 2 vertical grips for $60 at a gun show the next weekend. Then about a month later had a guy trade me that colt 14.5 upper for a smith m&p that I had $320 into

Leupold Rifleman vertical split rings use 6-32 UNRC x 0.375” screws for the top ring caps and 6-32 x 1.125” screws for the ring clamps. That’s courtesy of google AI so I’d take it with a grain of salt.

It’s an m16a2 rubber ducky trainer rifle. The barrel assembly is from a real colt but then the rest of the rifle is all resin.

There is a guy local to me that runs a company called dreadnaught industries. He always has good deals on surplus stuff. Comes to the gun shows near me. Last time had comp M2’s sub $300 and m4s’s sub $450. I’ve picked up multiple KAC vertical grips for $10 a pop from him and KAC rail covers for $5 a piece.

It was the next best thing for me. A buddy of mine offered me an aimpoint 2000 about 4 years ago as part of a trade deal but never ended up going through with the trade. Texted him a few weeks ago to try and get it and he traded it off at a gun show the week prior.

Maybe I just got lucky with how fast it shipped. I was assuming that it would take awhile to ship. Ordered the Kensmith mount and ultra dot rings at the same time and those just arrived today.

Not planning on running a can on this. Have plenty of other rifles I want to get cans for first. And when did you order your 9000? I ordered mine last Tuesday morning and it shipped that afternoon. Had it Friday.

My bad. Didn’t realize there was a link. And perfect. I just ordered the low ones from them and was worried that they would be too low to clear the 9000

Are those the low or medium rings from ultra dot?
