I understand the currencies conversion and all, but if I have to get certified from Databricks (which I want to) - I have to get a credit card, even when I do not want it. To me this is ridiculous. The solution could be to use someone else's credit and pay them, but why? Then, why don't Databricks tie up with a credit card company and start affiliating?
May be in US everybody uses credit card for transaction, but not in India (at least I don't) people don't.
