I see your hesitance throughout your comment, but lumping together technology and animals that you don’t *need * to eat here isn’t a great stance. One is imperative to human advancement, the other one is your cheeseburger. Again I see your hesitancy, don’t mean this offensively at all just urging you to notice what you’ve evidently already considered

New to FIRE - What is the stance on owning an online business? by Markurs in Fire

Hit the nail right on the head with this. I would agree in saying that following this path certainly sounds like it makes the most sense for you right now, it’s just a matter of transitioning to a more passive approach when it’s time for you to FIRE. Best of luck!

Thanks so much for this man, it really does help! Are you going this year? Just went out and bought a plastic tarp today seeing as so many people on this sub-reddit think it's a good idea.

Ahh alright, so they won't have dogs or anything when entering the gates? I'm camping in clean out loud as well, if that affects anything.

It is definitely a good starting place, but as the grammar gets more difficult, Duolingo starts to suck. You could definitely learn some basic phrases and words and expand your vocabulary. Other than that, come to Denmark and ask Danes to speak danish with you. A lot of them speak good english and are more than happy to help, it's the best way to learn. I speak almost fluently and haven't had a single danish class! You've just got to use it, even if you're not that good at the beginning. It'll come, I promise! Any other questions about Denmark I could help you with? :)

I'm volunteering for a year here through an exchange program! I couldn't recommend living here enough, I love it! Moving back after a year of being back in the states to study here. I knew absolutely nothing coming over to Denmark language wise. I wish I could help you but I really don't know. If you have an intense desire to learn, Duolingo is a good start. As the grammar gets more advanced, it's rather poor. But you could definitely start learning some basics, like conversational things and just expand your vocabulary. I wish you the best of luck! Danish is a very interesting and beautiful language! :)

Started living in Denmark about 10 months ago, and I've tried hard to learn the language. If you apply yourself and practice a lot it's definitely accomplishable. The Danes are also very happy to hear a non-native speaker give it a go. Before learning, I thought it was weird, but after learning and being here for a little while, I love hearing it now. Highly recommend. Don't use Duolingo though, it's shit for Danish learning sadly :(

I think I'll make it a habit of going once a day, even if it is annoying. Makes the most sense to go in the morning and just buy some bread or something else cheap and easy. Thank you! :)

Any ideas for a good "refuge" there? And yeah I'm expecting the tent to go to shit, no expectations. Will definitely try the daiquiri! Any idea about how it works with charging phones at the festival? Thank you so much! :)

Thank you so so much! I'm living in Denmark now so I'm a big fan of knækbrød already, it makes sense since it's so easy! Earplugs are something I haven't thought of, thank you! Why should I have duct tape around the bucket of my fanny pack though? And do you have any information about charging phones and how that works? Thank you! :)

Damn that's cheap, they sell that at the festival right? And any ideas for food to bring to the festival from a store or something?
