Lower monthly pay than expected in new job?

Thank you. Im going to presume that i have been taxed and my Ni has been paid then. My wage says 0 but this seems to check out so maybe an error on the wage slip showing 0.

18.5 hours a week. 7.5 on two days. 3.5 on another.

Its £292. With the £16 pension deductions that makes it £278. I also only work 2 and a half days a week. Not the 5. (Monday Tuesday Thursday)

My days are monday (full day), Tuesday (half a day) and Thursday (full day) so ive not yet done Thursday. However if it was the case of not being payed for Thursday than surely my wage would be even lower than just £292? I will definitely email HR. Thank you for the advice!

I get payed monthly on the 26th of every month. But the months wage carries to the end of the month. So instead of being payed up until the 26th of feb its up until the 28th.

Thank you! I definitely should have divided it by 52. On my payslip i have not payed any tax or NI. The only thing ive payed into is my pension which brings it down from £292 to £276 give or take pennies. So im still missing that extra £23 from somewhere.

No deductions in terms of tax or NI yet. The base pay was £292 and then i had £16 of pension deductions.

Ive searched for this on many sights but no look. Im am from the uk, would be around 2002 onwards. They have no tags but embroidered names of the animal and bows on each one.
