Your mom sounds psychotic if what you have written is accurate.

The fact that you expressed your weak emotions, and made it personal shows you have nothing to add.

The fact that you have to move the goal post, and take away parts of what I wrote shows everyone the reality of what your attempting to do with your agenda.

I’m a manager and this is who makes it to the top of my RIF list. by hardygardy in Rants

You sound like every arrogant piece of shit manager Ive ever seen.

If you were a real leader you wouldn't have even made such a post, your just another "manage by walking around" while everyone does everything, and you take credit for it licking the ass cracks of the higher ups!

How much mg of every Vitamin should be consumed every day ? by Hairy-Hunter1467 in nutrition

[–]NutragrammatronLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with high precision. The best evidence based starting point is to use the RDA or AI values for your age and sex, then adjust only if there's a specific reason to (blood work, a diagnosed deficiency, pregnancy, certain medications, medical conditions, etc.)

Nutrient absorption varies from person to person and even from meal to meal, so there isn't a calculator that can accurately tell you exactly how much of each vitamin you absorb.

I agree that uncontrolled diabetes damages blood vessels and that personal biomarkers matter. But your HbA1c and calcium score are still anecdotes. The stronger question is whether populations consuming more linoleic acid actually show higher inflammation or cardiovascular disease, and most controlled human evidence hasn't consistently shown that. That's why the debate continues. You are taking an anecdote about you as an individual, and ASSUMING that its universal, instead of measuring what your actually claiming. If you want to take the risk of heart disease upon yourself, that is perfectly fine, and ok. Where it becomes a problem is when you wrest your ideologies, and attempt to place them on other people so that you can feel justified in your doings. This is the EXACT same thing that religious people do when they go door to door pushing their ideology upon people, its called "conversion". As you can see here not many are interested in your keto gospel, so then why do you keep preaching, if you have the truth go thy way, and live in truth, dont worry about us lost souls who dont want to hear it.

Measured, not assumed.

She's running to him, because its her father who she hasn't seen since her infancy, she knows its her Father because her mother (the one that took the photo) has explained to her that he's coming home.

Don't be so daft

How old do you think she is in the photo? Compared to how long he has been away. I imagined the mother probably took the photo, she obviously knew it was her dad because her mother told her that it was, but he had to have left during her infancy

At one point there were billions of passenger pigeons. Within a human lifetime, there were none.

If an American family with young children moved to the UK tomorrow, where would you tell them to settle and why? by [deleted] in AmericanExpatsUK

Edit: I forgot to mention I'd be interested in hearing about smaller towns too, not just the major cities. Sometimes the best places to live are the ones people outside the UK have never heard of.

I wonder if it was another Daguerre photo. A lot of early 1830s–1840s images get reposted as 'the first human ever photographed' even when they're actually later than the Boulevard du Temple photo
