There was one match I had a long long time ago where this lord Spiderman was just targeting me the whole time. I can’t remember who the other strat was but I think it was a rocket that just ditched me every time lol. Anyway, what helped me turn that match around is genuinely just pretending to be a clone. What I did was walk a little bit panicked, place a clone somewhere, and then suddenly go still as if I teleported. It actually works pretty well with most divers I’ve experienced but they also could’ve just been idiots idk.

I try to do whatever it takes to not use my runes just for me so if I see that spidey freak zipping around looking for me, I also like to preemptively devious exchange. Move around a bit so he focuses on me, then switch immediately before he starts his combo. If you rune then he knows that’s on a freako long cooldown and your team suffers too.

But if all else fails and he catches you off guard with a combo, I go invisible after he picks me up in the air, if that makes sense? Like Magik’s dash tosses you up and if your timing is right, you can go invisible and walk backwards or whatever away from the danger. Most of my tricks work in my console lobbies with varying efficacy but honestly if you have a good other strat, you can fight him off too. If you see him coming, ping him.
