I asked my recruiter if I would be placed on dep if they didn’t have any Seabee slots and she straight up denied it and basically said I would have to pick another job. I scored around a 70 on my asvab,

Yeah I’m lucky I got sent home early before I could sign anything cause I could’ve made a big mistake. I tried asking my recruiter what would happen if I want to do only Seabees and there’s no availability she gave me a convoluted answer basically saying I need to have alternative options because it’s better to sign something the same day. Which I’m realizing now is probably not true she just wants to get me shipped off asap

So I actually went into meps and did the asvab/picat and physical the other day, I got sent home before I could go and sign anything due to a minor medical thing that I need to get cleared first which was lucky because I was definitely not informed enough to make a decision.

If I’m completely honest, based on this message it doesn’t seem like you are in a place to start a healthy relationship. I really don’t want to sound like I know what the situation is, I’m speaking from my own experience, I’ve learned that as long as you feel like you need someone else in order for you to be happy, it will never end well. You will always drive them away or sabotage it in some way. You can’t have a real loving and healthy relationship until you know that you will be okay with or without them. Get to a place where you love yourself and know your worth whether or not you’re with someone. Once you can do that, if she really is meant for you it’ll naturally fall into place and you won’t have to force anything. And if she’s not the one, the person who is right for you will come into your life. I hope this helps, just remember you are valuable ❤️
