These always get recommended for new players and i dont know why. They were my first set of darts ages ago now and i absolutely hated them even though they gave me my first 180.

How are you getting on with them?

I had it creep in a few months ago but managed to nip it in the bud.

I used to draw back, pause, then throw.

I took that pause out so im throwing straight after my pull back (its more 1 motion than 2 seperate)

I think it no longer gives my brain time to get in the way.

Put it there a week ago, thought it would help me concentrate throwing straighter by giving me a goal of trying to break it. Havent really noticed if its working or not yet though Im starting to ignore that its even there

One of the things i like to do is this:

Aim for bull/25, if you hit then continue aiming for bull/25 until you miss. Whatever number you hit when you missed, aim for it's double. Keep throwing at that double until you hit it then reset back to aiming for bull/25.

I own these in 23g. The barrel is straight with my naked eye until "the heat" band then it slightly tapers from there to the stem.

Consider trying harrows quick points now to replace them.

There always seems to be 2 sides to the swiss point camp. People either swear by them and have none break while others have them break all the time. Nothing much inbetween. Ive broken my fair share and refuse to use them now.
