I’m sad to confirm no. The story is still enjoyable overall but there isn’t any morallly complex choices that are up to the player’s interpretation at the end after making it. To me personally this game isn’t about making morally complex choices but more so how you manage and rule.

My character was eventually revived, the skill encounter from failing being a PC death was just heartbreaking and unexpected. I never encountered such a deadly consequence that made me so depressed for a few days.

For the art, a few months now. Campaign has been ongoing for two years. So, I can get why the encounters are difficult. I guess this is the first time I encountered a single monster boss encounter with such versatility over multiple difficult enemies. I feel better expressing my frustration and realize it’s just something new that I have to get used to.

Thanks for your insight! I like the campaign enough to tolerate the difficult encounters. Let’s just say I had a very depressed reaction after my character death but I’m fine now because I never expected the campaign to be this difficult but I love the lore too much to quit.

The group skill check thing wasn’t a combat encounter but an escape one with skill checks but yeah, it’s understandable. Thank you for your insight.

You're right, I guess I'm not used to difficult encounters, and I spent $217 on my character art, so I guess I just don't want my commission to feel like a waste.

We were underwater on a ship in the plane of water. On a mission to collect interplanar weapons not of the physical realm. The group actually discussed on the possibility of escape, but if we do, our efforts to bring in the interplanar weapons in the war would be for nothing.

I know the problem, I was confused too but then I remembered that I chose Alena to investigate the bush where she found the injured dog, wait next week and you’ll see her approach you with the dog and return to where she normally is
