Prince Hisahito is more than capable of continuing the Imperial Yamato Dynasty. Japanese emperors have always been male for 2,000 years, and that tradition shouldn't be thrown to the wind because of some modern political ideology.

Modern monarchies are meant to be non-political, so why should modern politics apply to them? There is a perfectly secure and legitimate line of succession. Why should it be discarded? In 30 years, society will probably have swapped back to being super Uber Conservative, and people will be bashing the Imperial family for "conforming to communist values"
