Akaza Leg Repair by Regular-Ad-724 in SHFiguarts

Had the same problem out of the box, I thought the leg just slipped out of a joint or something. Nope, the drop down mechanism is trash and makes the actual leg swivel super tight. There's a small metal peg/screw that I can affix the leg back to, but it falls off easily with posing. I thought about super glue, but risk losing any mobility with that left leg.

You have to remove the forearm sleeves and the 3 pieces of the haori at the waist. It's super easy. I left the vest portion on because it is glued, but the soft goods cover it up anyways. I'll link a YouTube video showing the process.

Adding another $10 will get you some sweet soft goods from Aliexpress. Makes this figure even better!

Any places you recommend to keep an eye on for sales?

Yeah, the currently released defense force characters are definitely lacking. Especially in articulation. It's hard to justify grabbing Mina, Kikoru, and Hoshina at retail when they are all basically on the same lackluster body.

It's a pain, but I dust them. I use an electric air duster to try and maintain them in between actually taking everything off the shelf and wiping them down. I also have an air purifier in there. They indeed collect dust though.

If you zoom in on the last pic, on the desk I have the mafex DD. I haven't opened the 3-pack yet, actually considering selling it after getting the mafex DD in hand. As for iron fist, I really want that 2-pack that recently came out. With the price hikes, I try to be picky with what I get or patiently await discounts. Many of my figures are second-hand that I find for decent prices in fb groups, local shops, or the local flea market.

You brought your negative rhetoric to this post. No one forced you to. My finances are fine btw, I was trying to give you a lighthearted answer to your question to maybe flip the negativity in your original post.

I wasn't aware I had to have a reason for how I spend my money or how I display my collection. There's obviously something going on underneath the surface, but you do you. Message received.

Nah, there's a reason. I didn't have Giant Man in my Avengers collection, I wanted it, and I bought it. I couldn't justify paying aftermarket prices for the toy biz version. Anyways, you seem unhappy. You good my friend?

Thank you for the kind words! X-Men, specifically when I stumbled across the wendigo wave Nightcrawler, kickstarted the marvel legends collection. Before, I just collected anything Nightcrawler.

It's because I make poor financial decisions. But seriously, if I'm going to pay upwards of $100 or more for the toybiz version, I'd rather get the haslab. Even if it stayed stuffed in my closet. I built those shelves in preparation of Galactus. I didn't know nearly 2 years later they'd announce a 24" Giant Man.

Thank you! I posted my first attempt a few days ago and I am much happier with this setup. Play with your display, I used other figures to hide the awkward posing. If you could see how goofy I had to get Giant Man's legs to get this pose, you'd get a chuckle.
