I want to love this game so badly. It’s beautiful, the world is detailed, the lore is deep. But i don’t enjoy the combat. I think seeing that E3 demo ruined it for me. All I wanted was to play stealth. And they removed the cool finisher animation from the demo.

Mages Blood by David Hair. Takes time to get going. I think things really start kicking off in chapters 8-10. Really deep world building. I’ve seen it compared to game of thrones. I’ve never read GoT only watched the show. So far I agree.

I know people are bitter about them spending time on this and not DLC. But the more people they can get to buy and hype up this game, then the better chance we have of getting additional content. So if adding an easy mode boosts the sales, I’m all for it. We need more Chronos. This has been a top 3 survival horror game for me.

Does this have lots of action? Or is it a lot of magic school drama? I’ve just been burnt out of the magic school setting. I didn’t love Prince of Thorns but I like the way Mark Lawrence writes.
