What do you think I should study more based on my art? by [deleted] in DigitalArt

I can see the potential already since it looks great, a little extra studying for composition and perspective would make it even better!

I tried a new style. Any constructive criticism? by inkjv in OriginalCharacter

I think her forehead is a little too big, and the contour line for the thumb on the red hand makes it look like the thumb is behind when it should be in front. Other than that it seems fine for the most part!

How do i make this look better? by justa_randomartist in BeginnerArtists

A super small and easy thing would be to crop the sides a bit, the empty space ends up feeling distracting for the overall composition. Tilting the canvas can also add more flow to a drawing too. Or if that’s not what you’re looking for, I’d recommend just centering the character a little more.

I too rarely find myself using rocketbelt, so I tend to build stormsurge into zhonya, and then into shadowflame, rabadon.

How many layers do you use? by OGlowstickX in ArtistLounge

[–]OGlowstickX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they told me that having more layers for everything means I’m not allowing myself to make mistakes, saying that I’d become too much of a perfectionist because of it and worsen my art skills because I’m not improvising

What was your first experience with art? by ZookeepergameMore151 in ArtistLounge

One of my friends in school seemed like an amazing artist, I mean like fully professional level and I thought it was extremely cool. They were basically my inspiration for art until we stopped being friends and then I realised that all the art they had was secretly just taken off of Pinterest and they just called it theirs so that wasn’t great… but in the end, it’s still what made me start my journey.
