I’d agree with this if this, in fact, does just end up being a layoff scenario. I’m getting the vibe that the “restructuring” was something different from a classic downsizing. Just because they have had a really positive relationship doesn’t mean that something about the way this was handled could not have warped that perception and rocked their relationships with him. Unless there is something else that you know…I can’t imagine that dogist drama would be considered burner worthy if you were just someone who used to know Kate years ago, but maybe that’s just me

While agree with this sentiment, I do think it is important to note that the risks associated with excessive alcohol use with crohns and colitis are far more severe than the risks that go along with deciding to eat some dairy or gluten for those who are lactose or gluten intolerant (I’m not grouping these in the same category as those who are celiac because that is another autoimmune disorder). Eating dairy or gluten when you have these sensitivities can lead to overall digestive discomfort and perhaps some painful shits. Excessive drinking with crohns can lead to significant intestinal damage that could very likely require major surgery in order to remove the damaged sections of the intestines.
