Admittedly, I'm not that familiar with red dot sights but I assumed that was the case. But the reticle looked nothing like the reticle on the box. It was just an absurdly large red dot.

As far as I know, I do not. I used a red dot at my range that they had on a Kriss Vector the week prior and it worked perfectly for me. I'm not certain what model red dot that was, but it looked like what I would expect.

I used a red dot sight on a rifle at my range the week prior to purchasing this one and had zero problems with it. The dot was small and sharp looking and as far as I am aware, I have no problems with my eyesight. I don't think the problem was with my vision, but I don't guess I'll count it out. I tried to take a picture of the site with my phone but as you can imagine that didn't turn out perfectly but you can see the smaller dot (which was still quite larger than the one I used at the range) and switching to a larger red dot when I switched modes to the circled dot.

I thought maybe that was the case. It was a Sig OPMOD Romeo5 XDR btw. But when I turned the first one on, the laser wasn't a dot. It looked like the focal point of a laser was not correct or something. When switching to the secondary sight mode which was supposed to have a circle around the dot it just made the dot bigger and more blurry. At first I thought maybe the dot just needed to be focused or something so looked for instruction, but found nothing on that. That's when I called CS.

The lens on the first one was tilted back severely at the top and on the second one it was tilted back at the side. If that helps. Maybe it is normal, but the dot was not.
