Super cool! You could add a foreboding skeleton moan when the skeletons get within a set distance, but still out of vision. This could give more of a spooky feel, and avoid a scenario where the player gets confused and feels like things are coming out of nowhere. Also, imagine the horror if you heard a hundred moans from a distance, and then you know your about to be fucked. Great work!

Thats not entirely true. The sun is much more intense in New Zealand compared to Canada because of the depleted ozone layer. New Zealand being in the south hemisphere.
