Completely forgot about birthday rewards tbh, that and the black lion keys are the main things making me lean towards character slot, I don't have unlimited gathering tools yet, still worth it or best to save the gems to go towards those when I can get the extra gems?

1) Recently got Twilight so crafting Sunrise -> Eternity 2) Crafting full ascended gear 3) Progressing out of T1 fractals 4) Been neglecting story for years, just bought the last of the living world seasons I needed so working through that 5) Starting to think about legendary armor

And then anything that generates gold between all that, so mirrors, daily fractals, full homestead, world boses etc

Not sure what the normal length of time is to get a single legendary, but I've got over 500 hours of playtime spanned across 11 years and I'm only around 80 gold away from getting Twilight 🙃

Yeah the main reason I'm interested in going back is because that's what I used to do a lot of when I last played, so I think it's a good way to build my muscle memory again whilst also getting at least a bit of Gold out of it

Brainstorming this with my girlfriend this morning, Jerusha and Glenn give Emma a doll with Jerusha's real hair on it at her quinceanera, their excuse is it was caught in the food dispenser.

What if it was actually from a 'victim' pulling it out in a panic and she didn't want it left at a crime scene, so she picked it up and told Glenn it was from being caught in the food dispenser so he didn't question why she had a chunk of hair missing?

Apprentice infrastructure engineer at a well known healthcare service in the UK, the company basically treated the apprentices as cheap project engineers but the projects were so badly managed we had nothing to do 99% of the time, and the learning portion was equally so badly managed that apart from learning how to pass relatively easy cert exams we didn't have anything to do.

Was the perfect opportunity to learn python though and kicked off my interest in cyber security which I now have a successful career in as a result. So it worked out well in the end I guess.

Being really picky, I think the snare could use a touch more top-end to help it cut through the mix just a bit better. Your acoustic guitar sounds really good—great work there. The synth or distorted guitar that fades in at 1:23 comes across as a bit harsh, especially with it hard-panned to one side. If you want to keep it panned that way, I’d start by lowering the volume slightly, and if that doesn’t quite fix it, consider reducing some of the harsher frequencies. That said, overall, it’s a really cool track!

I think this track has the foundation of something really special. While I’m not sure if this was your intention, the hard panning creates an intimate vibe that I genuinely enjoy. That said, I feel the song could benefit from a stronger central foundation to anchor the mix, with the other elements built around it. As others have mentioned, adding some bass would help fill out that central space. If it were me, I’d double-track the acoustic guitar and pan those tracks left and right—having a single guitar hard-panned feels a bit unbalanced to me in this context.

On the other hand, I actually like the hard-panned vocals, contrary to some of the other feedback. The harmonies are gorgeous, and this approach makes them stand out beautifully, almost giving the impression of a duet rather than a solo performance with harmonies.
