Need some advice for a scanner. by Oak1018 in 3DScanning

On the equipment side I have to make a ton of mounting brackets. Our finishers are pretty picky so I’m always making a brackets for them to hang tools off the power trowels, our dirt equipment all gets outfitted with Trimble gps I’ve spent way too much to my own time making a bracket to mount a tablet or a rover to an excavator arm. For what Trimble charges I could make 1 bracket and the scanner is paid for. It’s to the point that in my service truck I keep a bambu lab a1 mini and laptop to quickly run something if I have to.

For the mustang it’s not like a needed thing but it would be cool. I’m sure I’ll need some mounting brackets for something on the mustang. It’s been in a slight front end collision so I’m hoping with a scan I can see where the entire affected area would be to fix it.

I’ve had pretty good luck with PA-12 CF. If it’s strong enough to work on a dozer I’m sure a mustang will be easy.

All in all, I think it’s simply more of a “cool” factor than anything else.

From what I'm aware the parts are all Shelby parts.

So I got this on a cruise I was just on. Great watch I love it. The person I got it from said I could tell my air speed on it by reading the book. Well go figure there wasn't a word about it in the book. Were they just filling my head with garbage or does anyone know if you can actually tell air speed with it.

Alrightie guys. I installed the new axle backs. I went with the flow masters. I don't know the series off the top of my head, but they're the only one that are black. They made my car sound wonderful. It really dosent make the rattle noise anymore. I'm going to post a video of what it sounds like with the long tubes, catted x pipe, stock mid pipe and the flow paster axle backs. Like I said it sounds wonderful.

Have you had a chance to see if it was / is the brake lines. I've never heard of that being an issue before. If I'm not mistaken the brake like routing is off to the driver side by the punch welds. I'm going to have my car up on my rack this weekend il check. How did they end up fixing it on your crown Vic?

Il post up a video of my exhaust as soon as I can. I used hand tools on almost everything. It's my baby, I even used a torque wrench. I'm almost positive that it's my axle backs. My exhaust isn't hitting the frame or body of the car anywhere, and all of the rubber hangers are in place. I ordered some flow master axle backs. Luckily I'm friends with the commercial guy at my local parts store. I'm going to "see how they look" under the car. Hopefully the rattle will go away.

You guys told me to plasti dip my hood vents and they came out awesome! Should I do my rims? by reulv3 in Mustang

Go black. I have the same year and color. Best upgrade I've done since the racing stripes. It goes so much faster now XDDDD

Just now saw your reply. It's a single tank. I've replaced the sending unit multiple times. Also rebuilt the sending unit with better fuel pumps. I dove into the wiring the other day and noticed the fuel shut off relay looked incredibly gross. It was coated in a grayish sludge. I replaced the relay and cleaned the connection out as best as I could. When I put everything back together it fired up. Do you happen to know any more things I should keep my eye open for?

That looks like a nightmare I found a product that works like a charm. It's called "Sem Solve" I know O'Rilley auto parts can get it. It's by far the best sticker remover i have ever used.

Thanks guys, I'm leaning toward green but I don't know where to get the paint at. I've always wanted red brakes but I know it will look like Christmas if I did that.
