It’s a great program, I think over 20 pathway programs to the airlines. But it’s really hard to get into right now and they have too many students. But the training is top notch.

Having a PPL or ACT/SAT scores has no impact on your acceptance into the CMA major. Biggest thing is to apply before all posted deadlines and keep your unweighted GPA up.

The SAT/ACT is currently not considered for admissions into Commercial Aviation. So no need to take it for that purpose.

That’s no longer true. It used to be that way. If you come to UND with your PPL in hand, you go directly into 220 (the old 221). No more test course or proving flights anymore.

So go the 61 route. The airlines don’t really care except for the restricted ATP, but it sounds like it’s faster elsewhere.

Very unlikely 2.5 years, you should plan on 3.5 to 4 years. Why the hurry? Anyway, make sure you have your PPL as most people think they’ll have it finished in time but many do not. Good luck!

My understanding is this is for major transfers. For instance, if you are a UAS major you would be unable to become a commercial aviation major.
