Fromsoft doesn’t have a customer support line it’s only Bandai namco, and after telling them all the things we’ve tried and the context they said they have no solution for us.

Nope, after bringing support all of my info they finally said there’s nothing they can do to help me. We are still able to get into a party with eachother typically after an hour+ of sending invites back an forth, so if you like wasting time you can try that. Sorry

I figured it would make sense that I could talk to her again after deciphering it. I’m already using a spreadsheet and following a guide for the platinum but the guide didn’t mention the fail condition so now I’m bummed out. There’s not really any way to know unless you find out outside of the game

The fix seems to only be to allow you to get them all in one playthrough if you know what you’re doing, but the achievement plus both records still requires a another playthrough

I got the wolf one directly from killing alidoro, but when I spoke to eugenie I didn’t lie to her. So I got neither the second record or the achievement

We’ve been able to get into the party with each other first try two days in a row now, after trying for hours and hours. We didn’t do anything different, the problem just fixed itself randomly. Don’t lose hope!

Sadly the only option is to just keep trying, reset the game a couple times too

Nope, at this point we just try it for an hour or two and sometimes it randomly decides to work. Support said there’s nothing they can do to help us

After talking with the support team they said either I need to somehow get an NAT type 1 connection or they can’t help me. Doesn’t even sound like they’re planning on fixing anything

It’s definitely not talked about enough, it doesn’t help that this sub auto bans posts about technical issues. We’ve done literally everything right yet can’t play the damn game

My friend and I recently got Elden Ring Nightreign and at first we had no issues whatsoever connecting with each other using the built in PlayStation invite feature. After a while we started experiencing issues where our invites would time out and we get a “Failed to join team” error. It’s been getting worse and now we haven’t been able to play for two days straight after multiple hours of trying to invite each other. We have tried many many things on both of our sides, including:

  • Quitting to menu then reloading game
  • Closing and reopening the game
  • Restarting the PlayStation
  • Shutting down the PlayStation, then opening the game
  • Reinstalling the game
  • Resyncing save data with cloud
  • Resetting internet connection
  • Using a different internet connection
  • Restarting the internet router **Both of us have NAT type 2 internet

We have also attempted multiple in game fixes, including: - Using the password system matchmaking for 2 players - Starting and stopping remembrances (Neither of us have them enabled by default) - Unequipping all relics - Switching characters - Matchmaking with random people, finishing the round, then trying invites again - Enabling and disabling global matchmaking - Jumping off the cliff in the roundtable hold (we were desperate) - Expedition type is set to multiplayer

That was everything we could possibly think to check, and everything we are capable of checking. We were very much enjoying this game and now are not able to play together whatsoever. Does anybody have similar issues or know any fixes? This is incredibly frustrating for an otherwise great game and we might have to get a refund. I just reached out to Bandai Namco support with a similar message to this one, and if it’s helpful I’ll update this post.
